Job description

THE WORK

You've Never Been Satisfied with “Good Enough.”

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

  • (Internal Title: Scheduling IV)
    • You’ll create and manage detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout
    • You’ll define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate project timelines
    • You’ll identify critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies to ensure schedules align with owner objectives
    • You’ll track progress against the baseline schedule, preparing regular reports with earned value, milestone, and variance analyses
    • You’ll identify schedule risks early, assess potential impacts, and recommend or implement mitigation strategies
    • You’ll perform “what-if” analyses and develop recovery schedules to keep projects on track amid changes or disruptions
    • You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align and communicate schedule updates effectively
    • You’ll coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Proect
    • You’ll optimize workflows and resource allocations to enhance efficiency and meet project deadlines
    • You’ll document actual versus planned timelines, maintain historical schedule data, and analyze lessons learned for future improvement
  • Working Conditions
    • The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules for large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with owner objectives
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as PMI or AACE scheduling guidelines is preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, workflows, and dependencies, with a focus on MEP systems
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse project teams and stakeholders

What's in it for you

  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.

  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.

  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.

  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.

  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.

  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.

  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
