Job description

THE WORK

You've Never Been Satisfied with “Good Enough.”

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next

  • (Internal Title: Project Management IV)
  • Systems Integration:
    • Lead system-level integration across projects, corridors, disciplines and delivery partners.
    • Establish the integration strategy, integration architecture and integration planning approach.
    • Identify integration dependencies, constraints and cross-project impacts.
    • Coordinate integration of infrastructure, track, signalling/train control, electrification, communications, stations, rolling stock interfaces, operations and maintenance.
    • Maintain an end-to-end railway perspective rather than assessing projects solely within individual contractual boundaries.
  • Interface Management:
    • Establish and maintain the program/corridor interface-management framework.
    • Identify physical, functional, operational, organizational and project-to-project interfaces.
    • Define interface requirements and coordinate Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
    • Ensure interfaces are assigned to appropriate owners and progressed through design and integration.
    • Coordinate interfaces between Metrolinx projects and adjacent/external railway stakeholders.
  • Requirements Engineering:
    • Establish and maintain system-level requirements and their allocation to projects/subsystems.
    • Support development and review of System Requirements Specifications (SRS/SyRS).
    • Maintain requirements traceability from stakeholder/business needs through design, integration, verification and validation.
    • Identify requirements that fall between contractual packages and coordinate their allocation.
    • Support requirements verification and validation evidence.
  • Verification & Validation:
    • Coordinate cross-system verification where evidence spans several projects or contracts.
    • Establish integration acceptance criteria.
    • Ensuring integration evidence demonstrates that interfaces and integrated functions meet system requirements.
    • Support progressive demonstration that the railway is ready for operational use.
    • Contribute to RAMS and hazard management activities, including maintaining relevant registers, records, and supporting documentation
  • Design Integration & Technical Reviews:
    • Support multidisciplinary integrated design reviews.
    • Review designs for system-level consistency and interface completeness.
    • Identify integration gaps, clashes, assumptions and unresolved dependencies.
    • Coordinate technical resolution across engineering disciplines and projects.
  • Maintenance & Lifecycle Engineering:
    • Experience developing maintenance strategies for complex railway or transit systems.
    • Ability to convert Operations & Maintenance needs into measurable engineering
    • Understanding of the relationship between systems engineering, asset management, maintenance engineering, RAM, system safety, testing and commissioning, and operational readiness.
  • Working Conditions
    • Office-based
    • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
