- Help establish and maintain a cohesive visual direction across campaigns and deliverables.
- Translate creative briefs into engaging, visually compelling work that connects with audiences and fan communities.
- Present creative concepts and design rationale to internal teams and clients.
- Provide thoughtful feedback and guidance to other Designers while maintaining a high standard of creative craft.
- Explore new visual styles, design trends, and creative approaches to keep the work fresh and relevant.
- Balance multiple projects and deadlines without compromising creativity or attention to detail.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in design and creative roles, ideally within an advertising, digital, or creative agency.
- A strong foundation in graphic design, with a career path rooted in hands-on design work.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional visual craft, conceptual thinking, and art direction across digital, social, or integrated campaigns.
- Strong skills in typography, composition, colour, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with Figma is a plus.
- The ability to develop big creative ideas while also executing the design work needed to bring them to life.
- Experience working collaboratively with Copywriters and other creative disciplines.
- A strong understanding of how creative ideas translate across different formats and platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative thinking clearly.
- A collaborative attitude, curiosity, and a genuine passion for design and creativity.
Bonus Points
- Experience playing Magic: The Gathering is a plus.
- Experience working with gaming, entertainment, fantasy, or pop culture brands.
- An interest in trading card games, tabletop gaming, fantasy worlds, collectibles, or gaming communities.
- Experience creating visually rich, illustration-led, or highly stylized campaign work.
- Familiarity with fan-driven marketing, product launches, or community-focused campaigns.
- Experience with motion design, animation, or collaborating closely with motion teams.
- A passion for storytelling, world-building, and creating work that resonates with dedicated audiences.
