Caregiver/Community Support Worker

Our clients are remarkable individuals seeking support in Ottawa and the surrounding areas. They may be navigating the impacts of a motor vehicle accident, complex medical diagnosis, mental health challenges, disability, or other circumstances that affect their day-to-day independence and participation in the community.
As a Caregiver/Community Support Worker, you will provide individualized, one-to-one support based on each client's unique needs, goals, interests, and abilities. Support may include:

  • Encouraging personal development, confidence, independence, and overall wellbeing based on the client's individual goals.

Every client and position is unique. Some clients may require primarily in-home or personal care support, while others may benefit from assistance accessing their community, building routines, developing independence, or participating in activities that are important to them.
You would be a great fit with Spark if you are compassionate, reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently. Most importantly, we are looking for people who genuinely care about the wellbeing of the individuals they support and are committed to providing respectful, person-centred care.
