One of Canada’s Most Trusted Investment Brands.

At Picton Mahoney Asset Management (PICTON Investments), being alternative isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are.

Founded by industry pioneer David Picton, we’ve spent 20 years challenging conventional wisdom and redefining the investing landscape. As one of Canada’s most trusted investment brands, we are proudly independent, privately run, 100% employee-owned, and deeply committed to delivering results for our clients.

Thinking Alternatively is in Our DNA.

With a team of 250 bold thinkers - one-third dedicated solely to investment management - we are specialists, not generalists. Managing over $20.8 billion (October 31, 2026) for institutional and retail clients, we navigate markets with conviction, resilience, and a forward-thinking approach.

We’re more than investors; we’re innovators. We challenge traditional investment mindsets, constantly pushing the boundaries to achieve our mission: to bring greater certainty to investors.

Our success is built on four guiding principles:

  • Treat investors’ money like our own.
  • Redefine the way investors invest.
  • Be human, always approachable.
  • Succeed together, one investment at a time.

These aren’t just words. They define how we think, how we invest, and how we work.

Now, we’re entering our next chapter. We’re transforming our brand and reshaping the way the world invests. If you think alternatively, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and thrive in a dynamic, bureaucracy-free environment, join us and be part of what’s next.

Thriving in Our Entrepreneurial Culture

At PICTON Investments, you’ll thrive in our creative and dynamic workplace, where collaboration and support are at the core of everything we do. At our firm, you’ll have the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities, work in a flexible environment, and tackle challenging projects from the outset. Our culture is designed for ambitious professionals who want to make an immediate impact while continuing to push boundaries and achieve our greater mission. You’ll be empowered with a high level of responsibility, trust, and flexibility, providing an exciting and creative space for you to help reshape how the world views alternative investments. With competitive total rewards, performance-based bonuses, and a clear path for career growth, you’ll have everything you need to develop both now and over the longer term.

The Opportunity

The Coordinator, Sales Initiatives & Development is a central coordination point for key people, development and operational initiatives across PICTON’s Retail Sales organization. Working closely with the SVP, Sales Initiatives & Development, Retail Sales leadership and cross-functional partners, including HR, Compliance, Marketing, Finance and Technology, the Coordinator translates priorities into action by managing workflows, tracking deliverables, coordinating programs and ensuring initiatives progress as planned.

This role is well suited to a highly organized, proactive and resourceful individual who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, connecting stakeholders and following through on important details. The Coordinator will help create consistency across Sales programs and processes, enabling Sales leaders and professionals to remain focused on advisor relationships, business development and strategic priorities.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000, with final base salary determined based on experience, skills, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation

You’ll Have the Opportunity to Learn and Lead:

1. Sales Initiatives & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate key Retail Sales and Sales Initiatives & Development projects from planning through execution, managing stakeholders, dependencies and deliverables across Sales and internal partner teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, action items and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare meeting materials, capture decisions and actions, and proactively follow up to ensure commitments progress according to agreed timelines.
  • Identify process gaps, execution risks and opportunities to improve efficiency, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain repeatable workflows, templates, checklists and operating procedures.

2. Talent, Onboarding & Development

  • Coordinate onboarding, internal transitions and offboarding in partnership with HR, Sales leadership and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage onboarding plans, schedules, materials, system requirements and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Coordinate Sales training sessions, learning materials, development programs, assessments, registrations and continuing education (CE) administration.
  • Coordinate the administration and execution of structured career-development programs and internal development pathways, maintaining workflows, participant records, milestones, feedback requirements and follow-up actions.
  • Promote a consistent, well-organized employee experience across the Retail Sales team.

3. Recruitment & Workforce Coordination

  • Coordinate recruitment activities in partnership with HR and hiring leaders, including interview scheduling, candidate communications and process tracking.
  • Maintain visibility on open roles, interview stages, required approvals and outstanding hiring actions.
  • Coordinate intern and early-talent recruitment, onboarding and program logistics.
  • Maintain current information on team structure, vacancies, transitions and coverage requirements to support workforce coordination.
  • Ensure candidates and new hires receive organized, timely and professional communications throughout the process.

4. Sales Team Operations

  • Maintain accurate team directories, organizational information, territory coverage details, calendars, trackers and shared resources, ensuring central documentation is current, organized and accessible.
  • Coordinate recurring team meetings and operating cadences, including agendas, materials, action tracking and follow-up.
  • Coordinate invoices, expense reports, approvals and follow-ups with Finance and Sales leadership.
  • Partner with the SVP, Sales Initiatives & Development to coordinate priorities, prepare materials, track actions and ensure key initiatives and commitments move forward, including calendar and administrative coordination when necessary.
  • Provide temporary operational coverage during BDA vacancies and backup support to Executive Assistants when required.

5. Meetings, Events & Special Initiatives

  • Coordinate the operational requirements for Sales meetings, training sessions, offsites and selected internal or regional initiatives.
  • Manage schedules, registrations, meeting materials, room bookings, travel coordination, vendor requirements and follow-up activities as needed.
  • Work with the appropriate internal teams and event owners to ensure responsibilities, timelines and logistics are clear.
  • Support the execution of special projects and team initiatives led by the SVP, Sales Initiatives & Development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, sales operations, program coordination, executive operations, talent-development coordination or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, competing requests and stakeholders.
  • Strong follow-through and the ability to move work forward without requiring constant direction.
  • Sound judgment and confidence working with senior leaders, cross-functional partners and colleagues at different seniority levels.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, identify gaps and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Excellent written communication, interpersonal, meeting coordination and documentation skills.
  • Advanced organizational and prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, training sessions, events, travel or other logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Project Management, Hospitality, HR or a related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Asana or similar CRM, workflow or project-management systems is an asset.
  • Experience supporting a Sales, client-facing or distributed team, particularly in financial services or asset management, is an asset.
  • French/English bilingualism is considered an asset.
