Reporting to the Senior Manager, Scientific Affairs, the Dietitian Manager plays an exciting role in shaping how nutrition comes to life across our brands and products. We are looking for a Registered Dietitian who is curious, strategic, and passionate about turning nutrition science into meaningful opportunities for our products, our business and Canadians. • Monitor emerging nutrition science, health trends and external nutrition landscape
  • Develop evidence-based nutrition positions and guidance for the business

Shape Product Development & Nutrition Strategy

  • Partner with product development and other cross-functional teams to embed nutrition considerations early in the product development process
  • Provide nutrition guidance on product formulation, reformulation and renovation opportunities
  • Support the development and implementation of Nutrition & Ingredient Guardrails across products and portfolios
  • Identify opportunities to improve nutritional profile of products, while balancing consumer expectations, taste and business objectives

Bring Health & Nutrition Stories to Life

  • Identify compelling, evidence-based health and nutrition stories for products and categories
  • Translate complex nutrition science into simple, meaningful messages for customers and the business
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Marketing to develop credible, compliant nutrition and health messaging
  • Support health and wellness claims development by identifying opportunities and providing scientific substantiation

Be a Strategic Nutrition Partner

  • Act as a trusted nutrition advisor to Product Development, Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and other internal and external business partners
  • Bring a nutrition lens to category and brand strategies, identifying opportunities where health and wellness can strengthen consumer proposition
  • Develop tools, presentations and resources that enable teams to confidently incorporate nutrition into their strategies
  • Supervise dietetic interns and co-op students, providing mentorship, guidance and opportunities for professional development

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong knowledge of nutrition science, ingredients and food formulation
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Development/R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate the quality and strength of scientific evidence and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex nutrition topics simply
  • Adaptable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to navigate changing priorities and develop creative, practical solutions
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and build relationships across functions
