Job description

Location: Hybrid, 2 days on-site per week in Mississauga or Montreal
Language: Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Compensation: $70.00 to $110.00 per hour

About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced EDI Developer with deep, hands-on TIBCO expertise to join a large enterprise organization in the healthcare distribution sector. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting business-critical EDI and B2B integrations that connect customers, vendors, trading partners, and supply chain operations.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who has directly developed and supported EDI transactions using TIBCO technologies, not simply worked alongside integration teams. You’ll collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions while improving existing integration processes.

What’s In It for You
• Earn a competitive hourly rate of $70.00 to $110.00, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring just 2 days on-site per week.
• Work with enterprise-scale TIBCO technologies supporting high-volume, business-critical transactions.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives, trading partner onboarding, and supply chain integration projects.
• Collaborate with experienced technical teams in an environment that values problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll design, develop, test, and maintain EDI integrations using TIBCO BusinessConnect, BusinessWorks, and EMS.
• You'll build, map, troubleshoot, and support ANSI X12 transactions, specifically 810, 850, 855, 856, and 846.
• You'll configure trading partner profiles, routing rules, mappings, and connectivity using AS2, SFTP, MQ, APIs, and VAN networks.
• You'll lead technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and Level 2/3 production support for complex integration issues.
• You'll collaborate on partner onboarding, certification, end-to-end testing, deployments, and integration modernization.
• You'll maintain technical documentation and contribute to platform stability, automation, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise EDI/B2B development and support experience, including demonstrated development experience with TIBCO BusinessConnect, BusinessWorks, and EMS.
• Proven, direct experience implementing, mapping, testing, and troubleshooting X12 transactions 810, 850, 855, 856, and 846, along with EDIFACT, XML, and flat-file formats.
• Strong experience with trading partner onboarding, certification, AS2, SFTP, MQ, VAN connectivity, and end-to-end transaction validation.
• Experience across the full SDLC, including technical design, development, deployment, production support, and complex issue resolution.
• Assets include SAP IDocs, REST/SOAP APIs, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, marketplace integrations, and supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools, including generative AI, LLMs, machine learning, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents, with an understanding of responsible AI practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across technical and business teams.
