Identify new product launches, tooling opportunities, reshoring initiatives, supplier transitions, capacity constraints, and other potential customer needs.

Generate qualified leads and maintain an active pipeline of prospective opportunities.

Understand customer requirements related to part geometry, materials, volumes, tooling, timing, quality, regulatory requirements, and commercial expectations.

Coordinate with internal estimating, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to evaluate opportunities.

Support preparation and presentation of proposals, quotations, technical solutions, and customer presentations.

Participate in commercial negotiations related to pricing, tooling investment, manufacturing scope, timing, volumes, and contractual requirements.

Provide market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity, industry trends, emerging markets, and commercial opportunities.

Attend customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, networking opportunities, and conferences where appropriate.

Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting.

Required Qualifications

Five (5) or more years of sales, business development, account management, or commercial experience within plastic injection molding, tooling, contract manufacturing, plastics, or a related manufacturing sector.

Established customer relationships within one or more non-automotive manufacturing markets are strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of plastic injection molding, mold tooling, product development, manufacturing processes, and customer sourcing requirements.

Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads and develop new customer accounts.

Experience selling tooling, injection molding production, manufacturing services, engineered products, or related technical solutions is preferred.

Strong knowledge of RFQ, estimating, quoting, and commercial negotiation processes.

Ability to understand technical manufacturing requirements and communicate effectively with engineering and manufacturing professionals.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong commercial judgment and ability to identify profitable, sustainable opportunities.

Ability to independently manage customer relationships, travel, scheduling, and sales activities.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout Canada and internationally as required.

Existing relationships in medical, consumer, industrial, packaging, electronics, or other high-value plastics markets are considered a strong asset.
