Role and Facility Information

Gastroenterology Specialist

VyCare Medical Clinics is a rapidly growing, physician-owned and physician-run group of full-service, state-of-the-art medical clinics located in Vancouver and Burnaby. Founded in 2022, VyCare has expanded quickly due to strong community demand and a physician-first approach to operations.

We provide comprehensive, patient-centred care in a welcoming and inclusive environment, supported by experienced leadership, modern clinical technology, and robust operational infrastructure.

Our Willow clinic is centrally located along the vibrant West Broadway medical corridor, one of Vancouver’s most established healthcare hubs. The clinic offers excellent transit accessibility, proximity to major hospitals, and access to a diverse and stable patient population consisting of families, professionals, and long-term residents.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Gastroenterology Specialist seeking to establish or expand a community-based consultative practice within a modern, multidisciplinary medical clinic with a strong network of referring family physicians.

## Position: Gastroenterology Specialist

VyCare Medical Clinics is seeking a qualified **Gastroenterologist** to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This opportunity is ideal for a specialist looking to develop or expand a community-based gastroenterology practice in a modern, well-supported clinical environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide outpatient gastroenterology consultations, assess and manage patients with digestive and gastrointestinal conditions, and collaborate with family physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.

The role can complement an existing hospital-based or private practice, with flexible scheduling and administrative support to help you focus on patient care.

- An established clinical and administrative infrastructure to help physicians transition into community-based practice.

## Compensation & Payment

- Competitive **75/25 revenue split**.
- Flexible practice arrangements, including fee-for-service (FFS), where applicable.
- 100% of applicable panel and quality incentive payments paid to physicians.

- Convenient location near Vancouver’s major hospitals and healthcare services.

## Community & Neighbourhood

The West Broadway area is a well-established medical and residential corridor with excellent transit connections, nearby hospitals, and a diverse patient population. Its central location provides an attractive setting for building long-term patient relationships and developing a sustainable community gastroenterology practice.

## Qualifications

- Royal College certification in Gastroenterology (FRCPC), or eligibility for certification.
- Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- Interest in providing outpatient gastroenterology consultations and ongoing management of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

**International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and internationally trained Gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply.**

Candidates eligible for licensure in British Columbia, including those pursuing Royal College recognition or applicable Practice Eligibility Route (PER) pathways, are welcome. We are happy to discuss potential licensing and credential recognition pathways and provide guidance where appropriate.
