This role focuses on aligning client business objectives with scalable, secure, and supportable managed services offerings. The Sales Engineer translates complex technical environments into standardized, recurring solutions that drive long-term client value and predictable revenue growth. - Translate assessment findings into standardized managed services solutions.
- Design scalable, supportable architectures aligned with company best practices and service catalog offerings.
- Identify lifecycle risks and modernization opportunities that drive recurring revenue.

- Ensure smooth transition from sales to onboarding and service teams.
Security & Compliance Focus
- Evaluate client security posture and recommend improvements aligned to industry best practices.
- Position security stack components (endpoint protection, email security, MFA, backup, monitoring, etc.).
- Support compliance-driven clients (CJIS, regulatory, municipal, nonprofit, etc.) where applicable.
Vendor & Pricing Alignment
- Leverage strategic vendor partnerships (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, security vendors) to build competitive, standardized solutions.
- Support accurate pricing aligned to managed services margins and packaging strategy.
- Avoid over-customization that creates operational complexity.
Client-Facing Leadership
- Present solutions in executive and technical discussions.
- Translate technical recommendations into business outcomes (risk reduction, cost predictability, operational efficiency).
- Address objections and position long-term value versus transactional sales
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support development of standardized solution templates and service bundles.

- Strong experience with enterprise networking, cloud solutions, virtualization, and infrastructure.
- Experience with VoIP, VMware virtualization software, and server/storage platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design and sell end-to-end integrated solutions.
- Experience gathering and analyzing client technical and business requirements.
- Strong understanding of pricing models, vendor programs, and solution packaging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive and technical audiences.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
