The role ensures solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, target-state roadmaps, resiliency, security, compliance, and long-term IT Services objectives.

What you'll do here:

Technical Advisor Specialist Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into practical, scalable, secure, and reusable solution designs.

  • Evaluate technology options and recommend strategic solutions, including build-versus-buy analysis and cost/risk trade-offs.

  • Lead architectural planning for complex transformation initiatives and align technical design with business requirements.

  • Analyze the current IT environment to identify critical deficiencies, technical debt, obsolescence risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Consult with project, infrastructure, telecom, security, audit, and software engineering teams to ensure delivery alignment with approved architecture.

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

  • Define solution architectures that support strategic business objectives, transformation priorities, and enterprise technology roadmaps.

  • Develop and maintain architecture standards, principles, design patterns, implementation guidelines, and governance processes.

  • Create, update, and maintain architecture models, roadmaps, strategies, and reusable capabilities.

  • Lead architecture governance, design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance alignment.

  • Understand, advocate, and promote the architecture vision and value proposition across IT and business communities.

Technology Governance

  • Promote architecture consistency across platforms, products, and initiatives.

  • Establish reusable standards, integration patterns, and enterprise capabilities.

  • Support information security, resilience, compliance, operational, and audit requirements.

  • Guide delivery teams through implementation of approved architectural standards and modernization practices.

  • Lead and facilitate the evolution of architecture principles to support effective decision-making.

Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to future-state architecture vision, modernization strategies, and global IT architecture evolution.

  • Support platform consolidation, AI operating models, enterprise workflow platforms, ITSM, cloud, and digital experience initiatives.

  • Lead research and assessment of emerging technologies and identify practical adoption opportunities.

  • Consider long-term business scenarios, regulatory and security requirements, mission-critical application obsolescence, and evolving technology offerings.

What you bring to the table:

  • 10+ years of experience in information technology, including architecture or senior technical leadership responsibilities.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, data integration, infrastructure, and security best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of AI, automation, and systems orchestration, including how these capabilities improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and digital experiences.

  • Experience with ITSM, enterprise workflow platforms, and digital transformation initiatives is preferred.

  • ITIL 4 or ITIL v5 certification, or strong working knowledge of ITIL practices, is considered an asset.

  • Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across business, technology, security, telecom, infrastructure, audit, and engineering audiences.

  • Organized, proactive, results-driven, and comfortable working in a constantly evolving technology environment.

  • Team player and technical mentor with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups and quickly understand business and technology domains.
