Pay Range: $28 - $31/ hour

Overview

Vessi is looking for a Logistics & Fulfillment Specialist to support the daily execution of our logistics and fulfillment operation across ecommerce, retail and wholesale.

You will be responsible for keeping the details of the operation organized and moving, tracking shipments, monitoring orders, coordinating inventory transfers, managing logistics tickets, supporting customs documentation and following operational issues through to resolution.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through. You’ll work closely with warehouses, carriers, freight partners and internal teams to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Responsibilities

Order & Fulfillment Monitoring

  • Monitor ecommerce, retail and wholesale order flow.
  • Identify orders or shipments that are delayed, stuck or require intervention.
  • Open and manage 3PL support tickets.
  • Follow issues through to resolution and escalate when required.
  • Maintain daily fulfillment and exception reporting.

Inbound Shipment Tracking

  • Track inbound shipments from origin through warehouse receipt.
  • Maintain accurate ETAs and inbound status updates.
  • Follow up with freight forwarders, customs partners and warehouses.
  • Track delayed or incomplete receipts.
  • Ensure inbound information remains accurate and current.

Inventory Transfers

  • Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses, retail stores and other locations.
  • Track transfers through shipment, delivery and receipt.
  • Investigate quantity or receiving discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate transfer documentation.

Wholesale & Retail Support

  • Support wholesale shipment coordination and tracking.
  • Ensure required routing and shipping information is complete.
  • Support retail replenishment and store transfers.
  • Assist with ASN, EDI and shipment exceptions.

Customs & Documentation

  • Gather and maintain customs and shipping documentation.
  • Track customs clearance status and follow up on delays.
  • Support duty drawback documentation and record keeping.
  • Maintain organized shipment records.

Carrier & Shipment Issues

  • Track lost, delayed or damaged shipments.
  • Submit carrier claims and follow them through resolution.
  • Maintain records of shipment and delivery issues.
  • Escalate recurring problems to the Manager.

Invoice & Data Support

  • Support review of warehouse, freight and carrier invoices.
  • Identify billing discrepancies for investigation.
  • Maintain logistics trackers, reports and supporting data.
  • Ensure operational information is accurate and up to date.

Process & Administration

  • Maintain logistics SOPs and operating documentation.
  • Keep trackers, files and reporting organized.
  • Identify repetitive manual work that could be simplified.
  • Support testing and rollout of logistics process or system improvements.

What Success Looks Like

  • Orders, shipments and transfers are consistently monitored.
  • Operational issues are followed through rather than left unresolved.
  • Inbound and shipment information is accurate and current.
  • Documentation is organized and complete.
  • Warehouses and carriers receive timely follow-up.
  • The Manager has reliable information to run the operation.
  • Fewer issues are discovered late because the underlying details are actively monitored.
