  • Assign, prioritize, and oversee repairs, maintenance, and emergency work
  • Coordinate fleet maintenance schedules, preventive maintenance, and field support
  • Diagnose complex mechanical issues and support technicians as needed
  • Provide accurate cost and time estimates for service, repairs, and parts
  • Maintain service records, fleet tracking systems, and inventory control
  • Plan, implement, and track service strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Standardize, document, and improve shop and fleet management processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs, training, and environmental standards
  • Work closely with project teams to keep equipment operational and field-ready

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance with supervisory or service management responsibility
  • Red Seal Certification (Heavy Equipment Technician or Automotive Technician) preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a shop or field-based environment
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across heavy trucks, trailers, light vehicles, and heavy equipment
  • Experience with fleet management and maintenance software
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Experience in cold weather / Arctic / Sub-Arctic operations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or 3 is a strong asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Work Schedule & Details:

  • Full-time, year-round position
  • Competitive wages and overtime opportunities
