Do you know the parts industry, have a talent for leading teams, and enjoy both driving operational performance and helping people grow?

At Excellence Peterbilt, we are looking for a Parts Manager who can lead their department with strong leadership, attention to detail, and a solid business mindset.

In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage your operations, motivate your team, and directly contribute to your branch's success, while benefiting from the support of a network of eight locations.

If you're a hands-on manager who is results-driven and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience, we want to meet you!

Your Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Parts, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all activities of the Parts Department at our Sainte-Julie branch.

Your goal: Drive departmental performance by building an engaged team, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining effective inventory management, and delivering a customer experience that meets our high standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive departmental performance by developing action plans, monitoring results, and implementing initiatives to achieve Excellence Peterbilt's objectives and PACCAR Parts standards.

  • Ensure effective inventory management by maintaining inventory integrity, accuracy, and overall performance.

  • Plan and coordinate departmental operations across three shifts, including employee scheduling, operational coverage, and providing team support during peak periods.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop your team by participating in recruitment and onboarding, monitoring performance, and supporting employee growth and development.

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by supporting your team in resolving complex situations and continuously improving departmental processes.

  • Collaborate with other departments and managers to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience, ideally in a parts department, dealership, or similar environment.

  • Experience in the heavy-duty truck, parts, or heavy equipment industry (strong asset).

  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in team management, coaching, and employee development.

  • Solid business acumen, including the ability to understand financial results, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for improvement.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken, with strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.

Don't come directly from the heavy-duty truck industry?

If you have solid management experience in parts operations, automotive dealerships, heavy equipment, or a comparable industry, we'd still love to hear from you!

What We Offer

  • Permanent, full-time position with long-term job stability

  • Competitive compensation

  • Comprehensive group benefits, including an RRSP program

  • 24/7 telemedicine services and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Paid personal days

  • Ongoing training and professional development

  • Career advancement opportunities within our network of eight branches

  • Employee recognition program and referral bonuses

  • A leadership role offering autonomy and a direct impact on operations

  • A supportive, experienced team that takes pride in working together
