You will translate complex customer and business requirements into scalable, reliable, and high-performance system architectures. Working closely with product management, engineering, and cross-functional technical teams, you will help address sophisticated security challenges involving data analytics, attack detection, and distributed systems. Your expertise will directly influence product innovation, technical strategy, and the development of next-generation Internet security capabilities. This opportunity offers an intellectually stimulating environment where technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous innovation are central to success.

Accountabilities:

  • Translate Business Requirements: Collaborate with product management teams to understand, refine, and validate product requirements, ensuring proposed solutions align with technical capabilities and deliver meaningful customer value.
  • Design Scalable Systems: Establish the architecture and functionality required to meet product objectives, covering system configuration, reporting, runtime operations, analytics, and attack detection.
  • Address Complex Security Challenges: Investigate sophisticated technical and cybersecurity problems and design innovative architectural solutions that strengthen product performance, reliability, and protection capabilities.
  • Ensure Non-Functional Requirements: Partner with relevant technical and organizational teams to address critical requirements, including security, scalability, performance, reliability, and service integration.
  • Present and Validate Designs: Communicate architectural proposals to stakeholders, lead design reviews, incorporate feedback, and ensure alignment with technical and business objectives.
  • Guide Engineering Implementation: Provide architectural direction and technical guidance to engineering teams throughout detailed design, development, and implementation phases.
  • Drive Technical Collaboration: Work across multiple departments and technical disciplines to ensure successful integration and delivery of complex product capabilities.
  • Build Security Expertise: Develop and maintain deep subject matter expertise in security technologies, product capabilities, emerging threats, and evolving industry practices.
  • Contribute to Product Strategy: Influence the long-term technical vision and roadmap of security products by identifying innovation opportunities and recommending architectural improvements.
  • Promote Engineering Excellence: Apply a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), web technologies, and modern architecture principles to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Document and Share Knowledge: Research technical systems and issues, document architectural decisions and solutions, and share expertise to support continuous learning across engineering teams.
  • Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience, combined with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Distributed Systems Architecture: Demonstrated experience designing large-scale, low-latency, web-based distributed systems and developing architectures for complex software platforms.
  • Data Analytics and AI Knowledge: Strong understanding of big data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and/or the practical application of artificial intelligence in software solutions.
  • End-to-End Technical Vision: Ability to understand the broader product ecosystem and design comprehensive architectures that account for functionality, scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
  • Software Development Expertise: Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, modern web technologies, system integration, and software architecture principles.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Ability to understand and address complex security requirements, with an interest in web security, threat detection, bot management, and protecting digital infrastructure.
  • Architectural Design Skills: Proven ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear, scalable architectural solutions and high-level system designs.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts, explain architectural decisions, and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work with product managers, engineers, and other technical teams to align priorities and deliver effective solutions.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Comfortable working with ambiguity, incomplete information, and complex technical challenges while exercising sound judgment and making informed decisions.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for developing practical, high-quality product features that address real customer needs and improve the security and usability of digital experiences.
  • Continuous Learning: Proactive approach to researching technical systems, investigating issues, documenting solutions, and staying informed about emerging technologies and industry developments.
  • Benefits:

  • Flexible Working Arrangements: Access to a flexible work model that supports remote, office-based, or hybrid arrangements depending on role requirements and individual preferences.
