This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Architect, Enterprise Agentic Automation based in Canada.
As Senior Architect, Enterprise Agentic Automation, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade agentic automation initiatives, transforming complex business processes into intelligent, scalable workflows. You will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to identify opportunities, redesign processes, and determine how AI agents, business rules, and people can work together effectively. From initial discovery and solution architecture through implementation and production, you will own delivery and ensure measurable business value. You will also help shape reusable architectural patterns and improve delivery practices through lessons learned. This is an opportunity to contribute to an AI-first environment where automation is applied to real operational challenges and innovation translates directly into business impact.
Accountabilities
Lead discovery workshops with process owners to assess existing workflows, establish baselines, and define target processes.
Determine how AI agents, business rules, and human intervention should be orchestrated across each process.
Translate target processes into actionable engineering requirements, including epics, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and delivery increments.
Design enterprise solutions aligned with the established reference architecture, introducing new patterns and approaches where appropriate.
Coordinate technical delivery with engineers, managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and decisions throughout implementation.
Maintain alignment with stakeholders and sponsors, communicate progress, and ensure timely business decisions.
Define and monitor measurable value for each initiative and delivery increment.
Incorporate delivery insights into the reference architecture, implementation methodology, and ongoing product improvements.
At least 7 years of experience in solution architecture or technical/process consulting, supported by an engineering background such as Java, JavaScript, or a comparable technology.
Significant experience delivering technical solutions for business stakeholders or customers.
Proven track record leading process orchestration initiatives from discovery through production, rather than handing over designs after the architecture phase.
Strong business analysis and process management capabilities, including facilitating discovery and process redesign workshops.
Practical experience modeling business processes using BPMN and translating process requirements into robust solution designs.
Experience with enterprise solution and data architecture, including integrations, APIs, and the data required by processes and AI agents across systems.
An AI-first mindset, with initial experience designing and building enterprise-grade agentic solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive decisions.
Willingness and ability to learn and use the partner company's product and platform.
Experience in Finance, back-office operations, or related process domains, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Quote-to-Cash (Q2C).
Experience developing value cases using operational data, including process baselines, volumes, value estimates, and benefits tracking.
Familiarity with value engineering, process intelligence, or process mining tools.
Working knowledge of enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or Zip.
Competitive, location-based compensation: Salary is structured according to local market benchmarks, with final offers reflecting skills, experience, and location. For candidates based in Slovenia, a personalized Total Rewards Calculator will be provided after the first interview.
Equity opportunities: Access to a Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP), where applicable.
Remote-first flexibility: Work remotely with flexibility to organize your work environment.
Home office and coworking support: Budget for home office equipment and assistance with coworking spaces.

Financial security: Retirement or pension plans, often with employer contributions, plus life and disability insurance where available.
Professional development: Up to $/€/£1,000 per year for self-directed learning, including courses, certifications, and books.
