The Opportunity: Senior Organic Growth Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Organic Growth Manager to make it easier for travellers to discover aloSIM, find the right eSIM package, and confidently make a purchase

Reporting directly to the Director of Growth, you’ll own our SEO strategy and organic search performance—from technical foundations and content opportunities to on-page optimization and authority building.

But this role goes beyond rankings. You’ll use analytics, customer behaviour, and conversion insights to understand how visitors engage with our website and identify opportunities to improve the journey from search to purchase.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership and room to shape the organic growth roadmap. You’ll work closely with our Copywriter, Graphic Designer, Developers, Product team, and Paid Acquisition team to turn insights into measurable growth.

What You Bring

Experience

  • Approximately 7–10 years of experience in SEO, organic growth, or a closely related digital growth role, with demonstrated ownership of both strategy and execution.
  • Strong technical SEO experience and the ability to translate audits into prioritized, actionable improvements with developers.
  • Experience developing content strategies that balance customer search behaviour with commercial opportunities and business goals.
  • Proven ability to connect SEO initiatives to meaningful business outcomes, including qualified traffic, conversions, and revenue.
  • Experience identifying and testing website conversion improvements.
  • Strong writing and editorial judgment, including the ability to optimize on-page copy and create clear briefs for writers and designers.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console and GA4.
  • Experience with SEO research platforms such as Ahrefs or Semrush.
  • Experience with crawling and technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, canonicalization, redirects, indexing, and international SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear priorities and recommendations.
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization and the relationship between SEO, user experience, and conversion.
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities based on customer needs, commercial value, effort, competition, and expected impact.

Team Collaboration

  • Comfortable collaborating across Copy, Design, Development, Product, and Growth teams.
  • Able to translate SEO and analytics insights into clear requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects and driving initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation and measurement.
  • Able to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

What You’ll Do

Own Organic Search Growth

  • Develop and maintain an SEO roadmap based on customer search behaviour, commercial opportunity, competition, and expected impact.
  • Identify new opportunities across destination pages, regional pages, package information, travel guides, FAQs, and other useful content.
  • Conduct keyword and search-intent research and map opportunities to the right pages.
  • Create clear content briefs for the Copywriter and Graphic Designer.
  • Optimize existing pages, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, page structure, and content.
  • Develop a practical strategy for earning relevant, high-quality backlinks through partnerships, digital PR, useful resources, and other sustainable approaches.
  • Monitor changes in traditional search results and AI-assisted discovery and test approaches that help travellers discover and trust aloSIM.

Lead Technical SEO

  • Own technical SEO audits and maintain a prioritized backlog of improvements.
  • Work closely with developers to address crawling, indexing, site architecture, canonicalization, structured data, redirects, page speed, mobile usability, and international SEO.
  • Provide clear SEO requirements for new pages, features, and website changes.
  • Review implementations before and after launch to ensure they meet SEO requirements.
  • Identify and investigate organic traffic issues early, and determine whether changes stem from technical problems, search visibility, or shifts in customer demand.

Improve Website Performance

  • Use GA4, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools to understand where visitors come from, how they interact with the site, and where they drop off.
  • Build clear reporting around organic traffic quality, rankings and visibility, engagement, conversion, and revenue contribution.
  • Identify and prioritize CRO opportunities across landing pages, destination pages, package selection, and other key steps in the purchase journey.
  • Partner with Design, Copy, Product, and Development to test and implement evidence-led improvements to page content, layouts, calls to action, and user experience.

Connect Organic Growth With Other Channels

  • Partner with the Paid Acquisition team to share search term, landing page, and conversion insights across SEO and paid search.
  • Support paid campaigns with landing page recommendations and performance analysis when useful.
  • Explore opportunities for partner content, affiliate relationships, digital PR, and other relevant sources of qualified traffic as the organic growth program develops.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, or mobile apps.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and an understanding of how paid search insights can inform organic strategy.
  • Familiarity with how AI-powered search and discovery are changing organic acquisition.

About You

You’re analytical, curious, and commercially minded. You don’t see SEO as simply increasing rankings or traffic—you’re interested in understanding which visitors we attract, what they do when they arrive, and whether they ultimately become customers. You’re equally comfortable digging into a technical SEO issue, analyzing GA4 data, developing a content opportunity, reviewing a landing page, or working with a developer to improve site performance.

You enjoy taking ownership, prioritizing opportunities based on impact, and turning data into practical recommendations. You’re collaborative, hands-on, and excited about helping build an organic growth program that contributes directly to aloSIM’s growth.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll establish a clear picture of aloSIM’s organic search performance, identify the largest technical, content, and conversion opportunities, and build a prioritized roadmap with the Growth team.

You’ll establish reporting that connects organic visibility and traffic to engagement, conversion, and revenue, giving the team a clearer understanding of where the biggest growth opportunities exist.

Over time, your work will help bring more qualified travellers to aloSIM, improve their experience once they arrive, and increase the share of visitors who find the right eSIM package and complete a purchase.
