Job description

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a seasoned Security Automation Engineer who has an active interest in AI/ML security. This role is a natural next step for someone who knows the security fundamentals inside and out and is now getting hands-on with the unique threat landscape that comes with AI — prompt injection, model integrity, agentic pipelines, and the rest. You don’t need to have spent years in a dedicated AI security role; what matters is that you’ve got the security depth and the curiosity to learn fast in a space that’s evolving quickly.

Working under the Director of Security Engineering & Operations, you’ll drive security implementation, automation, and integration across all aspects of infrastructure and delivery — collaborating closely with Architecture, Product Development, Platform, DevOps, and IT.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve and iterate on Security’s internal processes and supporting tooling and automation, with focus on potential cross-organizational reuse
  • Own comprehensive security projects end to end, from conception to delivery and maintenance, with focus on securing cross-organizational AI usage, implementation, and supporting infrastructure
  • Partner cross-functionally to embed security controls across engineering and operations teams
  • Evaluate and help secure agentic AI systems, including multi-agent architectures, tool-use frameworks, and autonomous decision-making pipelines
  • Develop and maintain technical security documentation
  • Support compliance initiatives, audits, and technical assessments relevant to AI/ML environments

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in a hands-on security engineering role, preferably in an agile delivery team
  • Direct hands-on experience with the following
    • Writing security tooling, integrations, and automation as software from the ground up
    • Security infrastructure and configuration as code
    • Security architecture and implementation in context of microservice, cloud-native, and serverless architecture reference models
  • Proven success driving cross-functional security initiatives
  • Solid foundation and experience in AppSec core domains
  • Working familiarity with AI/ML security risks and frameworks, e.g. OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act
  • Awareness of agentic AI architectures and the risks that come with them — autonomous agents, tool orchestration, memory systems, multi-agent coordination

Preferred

We know AI security is a new discipline. These aren’t screens — they’re signals of someone who’s been leaning into this space.

  • Direct experience with LLM security, model red-teaming, or AI threat modeling
  • Hands-on work securing agentic AI systems (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar frameworks)
  • Experience contributing to or implementing AI governance programs, risk registers, or responsible AI policies
  • Experience with security incident response in AI/ML environments
  • with AI/ML workloads
  • Familiarity with AI governance principles: model transparency, explainability, bias/fairness considerations, and data lineage
  • Relevant certifications, e.g. ISC2 (AI Security, CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, ISSAP, ISSEP)

Location
This position will be remote with preference given to EST/CST time zones.

AI Mindset at Euna Solutions
We believe the future of work is human + AI. At Euna Solutions, we encourage our team members to leverage AI tools to enhance creativity, efficiency, and decision-making. We're looking for people who are curious about emerging technologies, eager to experiment, and committed to using AI responsibly to augment, not replace, their expertise.

If you enjoy exploring new ways to solve problems, learning continuously, and applying AI to make your work smarter and more impactful, you'll thrive here.

Life at Euna Solutions
We're a team of builders, problem-solvers, and public sector champions. We've built a workplace around a straightforward idea: people do their best work when they're trusted, supported, and not running on empty.

Here's what that actually looks like:

🏢 How we work
We're hybrid — three days a week in our Oakville or Atlanta offices, with standard hours on those days. What the remaining days look like depends on your role and your manager. We talk about it early in the process so there are no surprises on either side.

🧘 Eunafier Days
Twice a year, you get an extra day tacked onto a long weekend. We think recharging is part of doing good work — not a reward for it. Use it however you need.

🙌 Community is part of who we are
Our Engagement Committee finds meaningful ways to give back through time, donations, and shared expertise. We're invested in the places where our people actually live and work.

🤝 Philanthropy Time
We give every employee up to eight hours a year to spend on causes that matter to them. We want you to show up for your community — and we make time for it.

🎉 Real connection at scale
You won't know all 600+ people — and that's okay. What matters is building real relationships with the people you work with every day. Our culture team creates consistent opportunities for that, so work doesn't feel isolating.

📈 Room to grow
Whether you're going deep on AI, building expertise in government tech, or stepping into a bigger role, we invest in your development — through budget, mentorship, and real opportunity to move when you're ready.
