Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

LEAP is hiring a Social Media Manager to bring our brand, products, and services to life through compelling social storytelling that builds brand awareness, grows our audience, and drives customer acquisition. The candidate will own social strategy recommendations, content planning, day-to-day channel execution, reporting—and employ a journalistic mindset while producing content onsite with clients and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the CEO and Director of Marketing, you will take a hands-on role in executing our social media strategy, developing content plans and editorial calendars aligned with business objectives, product launches, and industry events. The Director of Marketing and CEO will drive business priorities, campaign goals and budget approvals; while the internal marketing team will own overall brand direction.

You will create and publish engaging, platform-specific content, experiment with creative approaches, and use performance insights to continuously optimize campaigns. Beyond creating content, you will connect social media activity to measurable business outcomes, tracking audience growth, engagement, website traffic, lead generation, and customer acquisition. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will build a strong understanding of LEAP’s products, services, and the Canadian legal industry, while capturing authentic client stories and industry buzz at events and on-site visits.

This is a one-year opportunity for a creative, results-driven social media professional to accelerate LEAP’s digital presence, demonstrate measurable marketing impact, and help shape the future of our social media program. This is a full-time, one year contract position.

***This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in our downtown Toronto office***
