You will work closely with the Strategy & M&A team on projects involving business performance analysis, market and competitive analysis, strategic initiatives, and other data analytics. You will have the opportunity to contribute to real business decisions while gaining hands-on experience in strategy and M&A data analytics.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze company and market data, including financial, operational, customer, industry metrics, and historical M&A transactions (e.g., valuation multiples, deal size, buyer activity, and transaction trends).
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior business leaders to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain Excel models, Power BI dashboards, reports, and analyses.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and executive-level materials summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Support the development and tracking of KPIs and business performance metrics.
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses, strategic projects, and business initiatives across different business functions.
  • Explore opportunities to use AI and analytics tools to improve research, analysis, and team productivity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in business strategy and data analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Strong research skills and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or other analytics tools.
  • Previous internships, academic projects, or extracurricular experience involving strategy, consulting, finance, M&A, market research, or data analytics.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis, business cases, M&A, or market sizing.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, data analysis, or productivity.
  • Interest in software, corporate strategy, and M&A.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience working on real strategic and analytical business problems and developing advanced Excel, presentation, research, and analytical skills.
  • Exposure to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience combining strategy, financial analysis, market research, and M&A.
  • A better understanding of how data is used to support strategic business decisions and the M&A process.
  • Flexibility to work remotely (~80% of the time) and only come to our office / events when necessary (~20% of the time).
  • Opportunities to get a permanent full-time position offer after the internship, depending on performance during the internship and business needs.

Ideal Candidate

You are someone who asks “why?”, enjoys digging into data to understand what is happening, and can turn analysis into a clear business story by creating a concise presentation explaining what the analysis means and what the business should do next.
