  • Implement, monitor, and support company policy and procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership in structural analysis, design, and construction-phase services, including the application of relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Implement project QA/QC requirements within the section, coordinate qualified technical reviewers, and ensure review comments are resolved before deliverables are issued.
  • Coordinate with the BES Professional Services Leader, project managers, and other Section Managers to forecast workload, align staffing and technical expertise with project needs, and facilitate worksharing across HDR offices.
  • Promote integrated, multidisciplinary design through close collaboration with Architecture and other engineering disciplines, market sectors, and business groups.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team and our clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Forward-thinking technical aptitude, including the ability to rigorously audit, validate, and verify AI-generated outputs (e.g., technical correspondence and code interpretations) against core engineering fundamentals and regulations.

  • A minimum of 10 years experience
  • Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
