Ready to be part of the action?

The Technology Partner serves as the dedicated Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and strategic relationship manager between Global Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Employee Experience functions and the broader technology organization (Corporate Technology Services and Global Technology Services). Positioned within the Enterprise Solutions & Services pillar, this role bridges business strategy and technology execution—establishing demand intake, crafting robust business cases, driving vendor Statements of Work (SOW) reviews, and partnering with cross-functional Tech Leads to optimize functional architecture, eliminate fragmented processes, and drive measurable business value realization.

  • Reports to: Head of Corporate Technology Services
  • Job Location: This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON (100 Adelaide St W).

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Navigation & Relationship Management: Act as the primary SPOC for HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Employee Experience leadership, enabling executive stakeholders to navigate Global Technology Services (GTS), CTS platform teams, and third-party technology vendors.
  • Demand Intake & Business Case Development: Establish and operate a structured demand intake and prioritization framework for the HR domain; partner with business leaders to author and defend comprehensive business cases, ROI models, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses through governance gates.
  • Strategic Roadmapping & HR Advisory: Partner with HR leadership to construct multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate OKRs, identifying capability gaps, application redundancies, and workflow optimization opportunities across the HR lifecycle.
  • Vendor Management, Contracting & SOW Execution: Collaborate with Corporate Technology Business Management, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, and Legal to draft RFPs/RFIs, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee vendor Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring clear SLAs, milestone deliverables, and strict implementation quality control.
  • Platform & Solution Architecture Collaboration: Work alongside Tech Leads (Workday, Corporate Analytics, ServiceNow, Google Workspace) and enterprise architecture teams to define scalable, compliant, and sustainable HR technology solutions that adhere to data governance and security standards.
  • Value Realization & Delivery Alignment: Define and track post-implementation performance metrics against business case projections to validate ROI and user adoption; partner with dedicated delivery squads (Lead BSAs, BSAs, Integration Developers) to manage backlog prioritization and change management.
  • HR Domain Leadership: Drive business cases and implementations for Workday HCM enhancements, third-party workforce management tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), learning management systems (LMS), payroll integrations, and digital employee experience solutions.

Must Have(s)

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business technology partnering, IT relationship management, senior business systems analysis, or IT consulting supporting enterprise corporate functions.
  • Strong HR Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, applicant tracking systems (ATS), learning management systems (LMS), payroll integrations, and standard HR data privacy practices.
  • Commercial & Financial Acumen: Demonstrated track record authoring executive-level business cases, financial modeling (CAPEX/OPEX, ROI, TCO), and defending technology funding requests.
  • Contracting & Vendor Oversight: Direct experience participating in vendor procurement cycles, drafting/reviewing SOWs, establishing clear vendor milestones/deliverables, and mitigating third-party delivery risks.
  • Governance & Leadership: Proven track record establishing formal demand management, product roadmapping, OKR-driven governance, and translating complex technical concepts into business strategy for senior executives.

Nice to Have(s)

  • Experience navigating multi-regional corporate technology structures across Enterprise Solutions & Services and Global Technology Services.
  • Cross-functional exposure to platform integrations involving ServiceNow, Google Workspace, and Corporate Analytics environments.

Salary Range: 140K/year - 145K/year CAD. Please note that the salary range included is a guideline only. The salary offered may vary based on factors, including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
