  • Prepare, maintain, and administer transportation, driver, and cargo compliance documentation, including required certifications.
  • Organize equipment collections and deliveries to and from customer locations, ensuring transportation schedules meet operational requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers to secure reliable services and ensure agreed service levels are achieved.
  • Monitor and report on key logistics performance indicators, including On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery rates and transportation cost recoveries.
  • Identify, allocate, and coordinate suitable equipment to meet contractual commitments and operational demands.
  • Optimize fleet utilization, transportation capacity, and logistics planning to improve efficiency and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO standards, and applicable internal and external audit requirements.
  • Promote and maintain adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Provide transportation and logistics expertise to internal stakeholders, offering guidance and recommendations to support effective operational decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation processes, service quality, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in transportation scheduling, dispatch operations, logistics coordination, or fleet management.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate complex transportation activities and manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for reporting, planning, and logistics data management.
  • Previous experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is considered an asset.
  • Good understanding of transportation regulations, fleet operations, cargo coordination, and logistics procedures.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Ability to monitor operational performance, analyze logistics data, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and service improvement.
  • Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • French language proficiency is considered an asset.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to operational efficiency, compliance, and workplace safety.
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: Annual compensation ranging from CAD $80,000 to $100,000.
  • Flexible working arrangements: Option to work remotely from home or from a local service center.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Access to a competitive employee benefits package.
  • Paid time off: Paid vacation and company-recognized holidays.
  • Employee well-being: Access to employee assistance and wellness programs.
  • Career development: Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within an established international organization.
  • Job stability: The opportunity to build a long-term career within a well-established business.
  • Supportive work environment: Join a collaborative, team-oriented workplace that values positive attitudes, resilience, and teamwork.
