Job description

Who We Are:

Taiv is a fast-growing tech startup located in Winnipeg, Canada. Taiv uses AI to make business TV more fun, engaging, profitable, and easier to manage, starting with bars and restaurants. We've built proprietary tech that uses computer vision to watch live TV and improve the content with contextually-aware commercials, content, and games. Our tech also automates the manual AV tasks that venues have to do every day, to make bar management easier, standardized, and more profitable. We're venture-capital backed and graduated from Y Combinator, the world's top tech accelerator, in winter 2020. Program alumni include Airbnb, Instacart, DoorDash, etc. (www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies).

We are looking for an Account Manager/Sales Planner to join our growing team!

What We're Looking For:

Taiv's advertising business is growing fast. Brands like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, ESPN, Square, Bud Light, Heineken, BetMGM, and Liquid I.V. run campaigns on our screens in bars and restaurants. Every one of those campaigns needs someone who knows the numbers, knows the client, and keeps the work on track.

This role sits between our ad sales team and our advertisers. On the planning side, you'll help sellers win new business with proposals, media plans, and the math behind them. On the account side, you'll own a book of advertisers once the deal closes: making sure campaigns deliver, reporting on results, and finding the next opportunity with each client. You'll be joining a team that's scaling quickly, with real room to grow as we do.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support our sellers with proposals, media plans, and the metrics they need to close new advertisers

  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance across your accounts, and step in early when something is off

  • Bring strategy to your highest-value clients so their campaigns perform as well as they can

  • Report progress to clients on monthly, quarterly, and yearly initiatives, and prepare account reports when clients or leadership ask for them

  • Work with clients to coordinate creative and content so their campaigns launch on time

  • Keep clients up to date on new Taiv products and how to use them on our network

  • Work with other teams across Taiv to meet client needs and open up new opportunities

Who You Are:

  • You're a strong analytical thinker. You're comfortable running reports and doing media math like CPMs and impressions.

  • You're highly organized. Your calendar is always up to date, you like working in spreadsheets, and your CRM is never behind.

  • You catch small errors before they reach a client. A wrong flight date or a typo in a proposal doesn't get past you.

  • You solve problems methodically. When something breaks mid-campaign, you work through it instead of passing it along.

  • You're a people person who knows how to manage a client relationship. You set expectations, follow through, and use what you know about each client to plan your next move.

  • You're curious and want to learn everything you can about advertising, media, and how Taiv works.

Your Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a client-facing or account management role is an asset

  • Comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets and a CRM (Salesforce is a plus)

  • Experience in advertising, media, or ad sales is a plus

  • Degree or diploma is an asset

  • Located in Winnipeg or willing to relocate

Perks:

  • Employee stock options

  • 100% employer-covered health benefits

  • Flex-time & unlimited paid vacation

  • Gym membership

  • Catered lunches 3x per week

  • Dog-friendly office

  • Hybrid work model

  • Free parking on-site

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 per year + stock options

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Ability to commute: can reliably commute to the office (required)
