Our values are a reflection of the people who make up our team and how we work. We are:

  • Empathetic
  • Humbly Confident

About the Role

As our AI & Automations Manager, you’ll lead the team that builds the tools and automations helping LiveCA work more efficiently. You’ll turn the firm’s strategic priorities into a clear, actionable roadmap.

To succeed in this role you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Owning a prioritized AI build roadmap and backlog aligned with team priorities to support the team.
  • Managing the intake, triage and prioritization of development requests from across the firm, balancing new asks against existing commitments.
  • Overseeing active builds from scoping through testing and rollout, keeping projects on time, on standard and visible to stakeholders.
  • Designing, building and deploying tools, automations and integrations using AI tools, APIs, Apps Script and other methods.
  • Maintaining core data infrastructure and automations.
  • Evaluating AI and automation platforms and recommending adoption, renewal or replacement, including exploring new AI features across our app stack.
  • Supporting firm-wide AI education and training programs and helping lead them when appropriate.
  • Measuring and presenting the impact of AI adoption and the tools, including delivery timelines and relevant KPI’s.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a management, operations or product leadership role, ideally within professional services, accounting or a remote business.
  • Experience leading teams through change, including change management or organizational capability-building programs.
  • Strong understanding of no-code/low-code development, Apps Script, automations and APIs.
  • Comfort using AI tools day to day for planning, communication, documentation and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with agile or iterative delivery: MVP-first thinking and continuous improvement (no formal certification required).
  • Experience analyzing operational data to spot trends, measure impact and present clear, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a knack for translating technical work into clear, non-technical language.

We recognize that the best person for the job may not tick all these boxes. All applications will be reviewed (by a human) to determine relevant experience/education.
