About the role:
In this role, you will be joining the Unified Experience Product Management team focused on the core experience of our users, customers, and partners. This team develops, supports, and continually improves our core software applications, portal products, partner and customer integration services, and platform capabilities. The team’s primary goal is to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement through continuous improvement, innovation, and a seamless experience across the Fleetworthy platform.

As an Associate Product Manager for Unified Experiences, you will play a key role in helping deliver simple, connected experiences for Owner Operators, fleet managers, partners, and internal product teams. The majority of your role will focus on the day-to-day product management and execution of Partner Experience and Owner Operator onboarding, working closely with the Senior Product Manager for Partner Experience/OO. You will help manage the ELD partner experience, partner onboarding and integration lifecycle, partner-facing requirements and feedback, roadmap execution, documentation and enablement, and prioritization of smaller partner investments.

You will also support the Cloud Platform product team, developing enough technical fluency to understand the platform components owned by the team and how changes to those components impact other products and engineering teams. You will serve as a key product partner to Engineering by participating in standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and quarterly business review planning. You will help translate business and cross-team needs into prioritized work, create and maintain JIRA tickets and requirements with support from the engineering team, and ensure that platform maintenance, dependencies, and other team needs are appropriately considered in prioritization.

The remaining portion of your role will support Unified Experiences coordination and reporting, including Foundations (the Fleetworthy free-tier Product Led Growth product). You will help maintain the Unified Experiences dashboard and reporting, coordinate cross-product Foundations initiatives, and support efforts to productize Foundations dashboards in partnership with Data Platform. You will help coordinate go-to-market activities and execution for Foundations and ensure that cross-team initiatives remain aligned with the broader Unified Experiences strategy.

This role is designed for a developing product leader who is ready to build broad product management experience across customer-facing experiences, partner integrations, and technical platform products. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple teams and problem spaces while receiving guidance from experienced Product Managers and gradually taking on greater ownership and independence.

Success in this role requires strong organization, communication, curiosity, follow-through, and a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment, collaborating closely with Engineering and Product, managing multiple workstreams, and bringing structure to ambiguous or fast-moving situations. You do not need to have deep technical expertise, but you should be curious about how software systems work and willing to develop the technical fluency necessary to understand dependencies and make informed product decisions.

To excel, you should be able to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, communicate clearly, stay organized across multiple priorities, and consistently follow work through to completion. Your impact will be defined by helping teams execute effectively, improving the experience for partners and Owner Operators, and building the product management skills needed to take increasing ownership of product outcomes.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive the vision. Be a strong collaborative leader of the vision, strategy, and innovation for your products & services as well as contributing to the broader portfolio vision. Being tech-savvy, you have a knack for aligning technical solutions to marketplace needs and by nature, see the future as full of possibilities.
  • Lead the product journey. Communicate a vision, strategy, roadmap, and releases aligned to business outcomes. Drive the product lifecycle from ideation, problem validation, solution discovery, and delivery working with internal teams such as marketing and business development to define positioning, messaging, and launch plans ensuring launch success.
  • Be curious. Know your market, customers, and users, collecting metrics, user feedback, market trends, and other intelligence to steer and evolve product approach. You model a user-centric, value-driven philosophy and consultative, collaborative style that directly aligns with your ability to drive CSAT and engagement.
  • Enable others. Educate stakeholders on products within your portfolio to build understanding. This includes providing support for marketing and sales initiatives that enhance product KPI’s and training the sales and customer success teams so they can educate customers and users. You will also work with software development teams in an agile setting to prioritize activities, assess and evaluate technical and business dependencies, and guide activities. As the lead, work with the team to assess scope, effort, and trade-offs, effectively managing the backlog and the refinement of stories. Your partnership with UX to produce mock-ups and demos for upcoming released features, combined with your ability to collaborate with technical leads to impactful product documentation elevates your ability to drive success.
