This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise while making a direct impact on service quality, technician performance, and customer satisfaction across an OEM dealership network.

If you have a strong background in transmission diagnostics and repair, powertrain systems, advanced troubleshooting, and technical coaching, this role offers the chance to transition your expertise into a highly rewarding training environment.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging instructor-led training programs based on OEM service curriculum.
  • Facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions for dealership technicians.
  • Provide hands-on instruction focused on diagnostics, repair procedures, powertrain technologies, and transmission systems.
  • Support technicians in developing advanced troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Manage and execute training schedules through Cornerstone LMS and other learning platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Ensure training vehicles, equipment, and learning environments remain fully operational and aligned with OEM standards.
  • Stay current on emerging automotive technologies and industry best practices.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of hands-on automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
  • Strong experience with automatic and/or manual transmission systems, including diagnostics and repair.
  • Experience working with powertrain, drivability, and advanced vehicle systems.
  • Provincial or Interprovincial Automotive Technician License (310S, Red Seal, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable leading training sessions both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OEM dealership experience.
  • Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and advanced troubleshooting methods.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).

Why Join Us

This role offers far more than traditional technical instruction. You will become a trusted subject matter expert, helping dealership technicians stay ahead of rapidly evolving vehicle technologies while influencing service excellence across an entire network.

Every class you deliver contributes directly to technician success, dealership performance, and customer experience. You will have the opportunity to combine technical expertise, leadership, and mentorship while remaining connected to the latest advancements in automotive diagnostics, powertrain technologies, and transmission systems.
