  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where data science can improve customer outcomes, business performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • Oversee model governance, validation, monitoring, and ongoing performance to ensure models remain effective, reliable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion innovation by exploring emerging technologies, analytical techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with Pricing, Actuarial, Risk, Technology, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Drive adoption of analytical tools, models, and insights across the business to maximize value and measurable impact.
  • Help shape priorities, allocate resources, and deliver key initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative culture that encourages curiosity, continuous learning, and diverse perspectives.

What you’ll bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
  • Experience delivering data science and analytics solutions that solve complex business challenges and create measurable value.
  • Strong understanding of predictive modelling techniques, machine learning methodologies, and model development practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing analytical models and data-driven solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analytical insights to business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What makes you stand out:

  • Deep understanding of pricing analytics, predictive modelling, and machine learning within a complex business environment.
  • Knowledge of the Property & Casualty insurance industry and the opportunities data science can unlock.
  • Success building high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
  • Ability to connect business strategy, analytics, and technology to deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
