  • Ensure consistency in data collection, photo documentation, and deficiency identification

Quality Assurance & Delivery Model

  • Establish and oversee QA/QC processes to ensure all reports are accurate, consistent, and defensible
  • Review field data and reports to ensure appropriate assumptions, limitations, and cost opinions are applied
  • Manage risk by ensuring clear communication of scope, limitations, and uncertainty

Project Oversight

  • Oversee project execution across a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and multi-residential properties
  • Ensure deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and client expectations
  • Support complex or high-risk assessments directly

Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

  • Support expansion into reserve fund studies / depreciation reports and the condominium / strata market
  • Assist with proposals, client relationships, and growth of the BCA service line across Canada and the U.S.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate services with ESA, roofing, and building science offerings

The Opportunity (Role Context)

This is not a traditional project management role. It is an opportunity to build a scalable, high-value service focused on clarity, consistency, and capital insight. • 10+ years of experience in building sciences, with significant BCA/PCA and capital planning experience
  • Strong understanding of building systems and lifecycle performance
  • Deep familiarity with ASTM E2018 and related assessment frameworks
  • Proven experience training, mentoring, and overseeing field-based assessment teams
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to produce clear, defensible, client-ready reports
