POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about artificial intelligence and, more importantly, about the tangible value it can create for businesses? Do you enjoy turning complex topics into clear, practical strategies that drive results?

As a Business Advisor, Artificial Intelligence, you will serve as a trusted strategic partner to Canadian entrepreneurs looking to leverage AI to improve performance, productivity and long-term competitiveness.

Working at the intersection of business strategy, operations and emerging technologies, you will help small and medium-sized businesses move from exploration to action by assessing AI readiness, identifying high-value opportunities and developing responsible strategies tailored to their business reality.

Your role will focus primarily on business value, strategy, governance and AI adoption, rather than the technical development of AI models. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by helping Canadian businesses adopt AI in a practical, responsible and sustainable way.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Identify, prioritize and validate AI use cases that can deliver measurable business value, including productivity gains, revenue growth, cost optimization and enhanced customer experience.
  • Advise executive teams on AI risk, ethics, governance and responsible use, aligned with organizational values and regulatory expectations.

Turn strategy into tangible results

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of standard and customized AI advisory engagements, ensuring quality, impact and alignment with consulting methodologies.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists, delivery consultants and external partners to implement AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support sustainable client adoption through change management, knowledge transfer and effective alignment across teams.
  • Maintain accountability for engagement outcomes, timelines, scope and client satisfaction.

Help shape and grow our AI expertise

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of AI advisory offerings, frameworks and tools, incorporating responsible and ethical AI practices.
  • Help build AI literacy through internal thought leadership, training materials and workshops for advisors and clients.
  • Represent the AI advisory practice in business development activities, client presentations and selected external events.
  • Stay current on AI trends, platforms and the Canadian AI ecosystem to provide relevant guidance to clients and inform solution design.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, technology advisory, digital transformation or a related strategic advisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior executives on business strategy, operations or technology transformation.
  • Proven experience applying artificial intelligence in a business context, including AI strategy, use case development, adoption or governance.
  • Strong understanding of core AI concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing and generative AI, from a conceptual and applied business perspective, without requiring hands-on model development experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence and guide decision-makers.
