  • Monitor incoming and outgoing assets and identify account activity requiring follow-up or Investment Advisor attention.
  • Maintain client files and documentation, including ongoing client account updates and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve service, account and technology-related issues, escalating more complex matters when required.
  • Support prospective client activity by coordinating meetings, preparing introductory materials and assisting the advisory team with client development initiatives.
  • Coordinate client engagement and marketing activities, including client events and other relationship-building initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with BMO partners and colleagues to connect clients with broader Wealth solutions and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Apply regulatory, risk and compliance requirements while protecting client confidentiality, information and assets.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to newer team members on processes, technology and day-to-day client servicing activities.

What you bring

  • Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, trade processing, client accounts and investment-related procedures.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within a wealth management environment.
  • Strong client service and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work directly with clients and Investment Advisors.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client priorities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial and retirement planning, insurance, trust or estate services is an asset.
