Job description

Content & Digital Marketing Specialist

Reporting to the Communications, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, the Content & Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in building, optimizing, and scaling ARAG’s digital marketing performance across channels.

This is not a traditional content role. It is a hybrid position at the intersection of data, technology, and content, ideal for someone who enjoys improving how things work, not just executing campaigns.

The successful candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and hands-on experience with digital platforms, marketing tools, and content strategy. They will be responsible for turning campaigns into high-performing digital experiences, improving user journeys, and driving measurable results across web, email, and social channels.

What will you do?

  • Own and optimize digital marketing performance across website, email, and social channels, with a focus on measurable results.
  • Lead SEO and GEO strategy, including keyword research, content structuring, and optimization for search engines and AI-driven discovery.
  • Translate campaigns into multi-channel content across web, email, social, and blog formats.
  • Analyze campaign performance, user behaviour, and conversion data, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Optimize website content, structure, and user journeys to improve discoverability, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Own and manage marketing tools and platforms, ensuring they are effectively integrated and utilized.
  • Build and execute automated email campaigns and nurture journeys to support lead generation and engagement.
  • Conduct content audits and repurpose existing materials into high-performing digital assets.
  • Manage and grow social media presence with a focus on engagement and reach.
  • Support and optimize paid campaigns (search, social, display).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver digital initiatives effectively.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and evolving AI-driven practices, applying them to improve performance.
  • Take ownership of projects and proactively identify opportunities to improve how digital marketing is executed and scaled.

About You:

  • 4–7+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, dashboards, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO (technical and content), website optimization, and CMS platforms.
  • Experience with email marketing and marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with paid media platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.).
  • Strong writing and content development skills across digital channels.
  • Strong visual and design skills, with the ability to create polished, on-brand digital assets (social content, email layouts, landing pages, marketing materials) using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Good understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, with attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Comfortable working with marketing technology and troubleshooting backend issues when needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B, insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead lifecycle management.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance marketing workflows.

Why Join ARAG?

  • Work on high-impact campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Opportunity to build and evolve digital marketing capabilities from the ground up.
