Job description

About STAN

STAN is the largest provider of AI solutions for HOA and Condo Property Managers. We're using cutting-edge, patented AI technology to build solutions that enhance life for residents of more than 2.5 million+ homes across North America — and we're on a mission to build the world's first AI property manager. Want to come along for the ride?

We've been recognized by Rogers, FedEx, George Brown College, StartUp Canada, the Waterloo Accelerator Centre, and more — and we're just getting started. Learn more at www.stan(.)ai 🤖

The Role

We're hiring a Customer Education Specialist to help property managers get confident and fluent with STAN. You'll be the face of STAN training — running office hours, leading live training, hosting STAN's webinars, and building the guides and videos customers turn to when they need help. This is a highly technical role: you'll need to understand STAN inside and out, including integrations, configuration, and how our AI works, so you can answer tough questions on the spot.

You'll work closely with Customer Success, Support, and Product to make sure every customer knows how to use what they have, and every new feature lands with a clear, friendly explanation. When customers understand STAN, they use more of it and stay longer — and that starts with you.

What you will do

  • Train our customers
  • Host regular office hours where property managers can drop in with questions, get live help, and learn best practices
  • Deliver onboarding training for new customers, from first login to fully up and running
  • Run live training sessions for groups, tailored to different roles such as community managers, admin staff, and leadership
  • Own and host STAN's customer webinars, from planning topics and building content to presenting live and handling Q&A
  • Answer technical questions about integrations, configuration, data, and how STAN's AI works, and troubleshoot issues live during sessions
  • Lead refresher and advanced sessions to help existing customers use features they're not taking advantage of yet
  • Present new features and product updates to customers as they launch

Build learning content

  • Create and maintain training materials: how-to guides, short videos, slide decks, quick-reference sheets, and FAQs
  • Build and grow a self-serve help centre or training library customers can use anytime
  • Keep all content up to date as the product changes

Make training better over time

  • Track attendance, feedback, and adoption after training to see what's working, and improve sessions based on results
  • Spot common questions and confusion, and share them with Product and Support to fix the root cause
  • Partner with Customer Success and Account Management to support accounts that need extra help
  • Train internal teams on new features so everyone at STAN speaks about the product the same way

What the role requires

  • 2–4 years of experience in customer training, customer education, onboarding, or a similar customer-facing role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
  • Highly technical: you learn complex software deeply and understand APIs, integrations, data flows, and system configuration well enough to explain and troubleshoot them
  • Confident, engaging presenter who is comfortable leading live sessions on video calls and in person
  • Experience hosting webinars for large customer audiences, including handling live Q&A
  • A talent for explaining technical concepts simply to non-technical users, with lots of patience
  • Experience creating training content such as guides, videos, and presentations
  • Comfort with video and screen-recording tools such as Loom, Camtasia, or similar, and webinar platforms such as Zoom Webinars or similar
  • Strong organization skills to manage a calendar of sessions and a growing content library
  • Clear, friendly written and verbal communication in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in PropTech, property management, real estate, or HOA/condo software
  • Familiarity with property management platforms such as Vantaca, CINC, Buildium, or similar
  • Experience with learning management systems or help centre tools such as Intercom, Zendesk Guide, or Skilljar
  • Background in technical support, solutions engineering, or implementation
  • Familiarity with AI products such as conversational AI, chatbots, or voice agent

Compensation

CAD 85,000–110,000 per year

Benefits

  • Opportunity to sell world-class, patented AI technology.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and specialist benefits.
  • Company Macbook.
  • Free parking and shuttle service to the office.
  • Extra PTO during occasional US holidays.
  • Company events, in-office restaurant, and building-wide perks.
  • Unlimited ping pong and espresso!
