Role and Facility Information

Centrally located in Langley City, this Family Practice offers full-scope family practice care, in-hospital care, palliative and hospice care, long-term care and more.

As an established teaching practice for undergraduate and postgraduate learners, the Team thrives on supporting each other and those joining the practice. Leading the way with technology in primary care, the clinic has incorporated the newest of Telus MedAcess EMR services along with AI assisted note recording and an online patient portal for appointment booking to improve communication and patient care. All clinical rooms fully equipped and self-contained with the tools and technology required to work effectively both in-person and virtually.

The four physicians work together with the advanced MOA Team who are an asset as the first point of contact for patients and are looking forward to welcoming a nurse to the team. The patient population is diverse and ranges from maternity to long-term care. The Family Practice is committed to team-based patient centered care in a culturally safe and welcoming environment.

This is a locum position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of clinical settings. The duration can be covered by one locum or split amongst a few - we are fine with any period of coverage throughout the following time periods:

1. April 5th - 23rd, 2027 (3 weeks)
2. September 13th - October 8th, 2027 (3 weeks)

It is with respect and honour that this practice operates on the sacred, ancestral territories of the Coast Salish people, specifically the qicəy (Katzie), qʼʷa:nƛʼən (Kwantlen), Máthekwi (Matsqui) and Se’mya’me’ (Semihamoo) First Nations. Our team appreciates that these territories are now home to many diverse First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples.

Compensation for this position will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience, qualifications, and coverage (physician-specific). LFP billing.

We are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care, and we are looking for a physician who shares this commitment. If you are a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply with your CV.
