  • Lead transportation planning and traffic engineering projects from proposal development through to final delivery, including management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance, quality assurance, and senior review of transportation planning and traffic engineering deliverables.
  • Collect and analyze transportation, traffic, collision, parking, and land-use data, and undertake traffic forecasting and network analysis using appropriate analysis and modelling software.
  • Assess transportation infrastructure and operational requirements associated with development applications and municipal planning initiatives.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, memoranda, presentations, work plans, budgets, schedules, and proposals.
  • Coordinate internal staff, other Tatham departments, subconsultants, and external partners.
  • Liaise with clients, agencies, developers, planning authorities, and other stakeholders, and lead or participate in meetings, public consultation activities, and technical presentations.

  • Broad technical knowledge of traffic operations, transportation planning, development-related transportation studies, road safety, and transportation modelling and analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, business development, client relationship management, and technical leadership.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing technical staff and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Established relationships within the Guelph and surrounding municipal and development communities would be considered an asset.
