Job Purpose:
The HR Generalist is the primary on-site HR resource for our Burlington, ON plant of approximately 30 employees, combining hands-on HR administration with day-to-day plant support. This role owns the tactical execution of HR processes while also handling routine accounts payable and office administration tasks that keep the plant running smoothly. In addition, the role partners with Corporate Total Rewards on supporting U.S. benefits administration. This person is a steady, visible presence on the floor — helping sustain a positive plant culture and serving as a trusted communication link between plant leadership and the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Records
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in the HRIS (Paycom) and filing systems.

- Serve as a visible, approachable HR presence and trusted resource for employee questions and concerns.
- Partner with plant leadership on employee communications and support recognition/engagement initiatives tied to Growscape's values.
