This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Localization Quality Coordinator based in India.
The Localization Quality Coordinator leads quality analysis, reporting, and process coordination across localization projects. This role ensures that quality performance is consistently monitored, documented, and communicated to relevant stakeholders. You will build dashboards, review quality samples, track corrective actions, and help maintain clear, up-to-date guidelines and procedures. Working closely with Project Managers, Operations teams, and external vendors, you will support smooth project delivery and reliable quality outcomes. The position also involves coordinating training activities, preparing client-ready reports, and identifying opportunities to improve everyday processes. It offers the opportunity to take ownership of defined quality workstreams while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Accountabilities:
Conduct quality sampling and guideline-adherence checks, documenting defects and classifying them by category and severity.
Monitor corrective and improvement actions through to completion, verify retest results, and record outcomes.
Coordinate training sessions and refresher activities, including attendance tracking and short knowledge assessments.
Maintain quality guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and evaluation rubrics, ensuring version control and clear release notes.
Prepare accurate, consistently formatted, client-ready reports and exports, including tables, charts, and relevant footnotes.
Work with Project Managers and Operations teams to align reporting and audit timelines, inputs, and deliverables.
Coordinate access requests and permissions for quality assurance tools, shared folders, and relevant resources.
Support vendor coordination by managing checklists, service-level agreements (SLAs), and documentation requests.
Identify smaller process gaps and recommend practical improvements, such as updated templates, checklists, and workflows.
Manage small to medium-sized quality workstreams independently within established processes, escalating non-standard issues when needed.
A bachelor's degree in Linguistics or a related language discipline is strongly preferred. Degrees in Quality, Operations, Business, Data, or Engineering are also considered, as is equivalent professional experience.
Graduates of top-tier universities are preferred.
3–7 years of experience in operations or quality coordination, linguistic quality review, or data analysis.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several concurrent workstreams while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, Project Managers, and external vendors.
Good working knowledge of spreadsheets and task management boards; familiarity with basic business intelligence (BI) tools is an advantage.
Ability to apply SOPs, quality checks, and established guidelines consistently, while identifying and escalating risks promptly.
Ability to work independently on routine activities and make decisions within defined processes.
Comfortable collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams and coordinating work across different stakeholders.
Full-time, remote position based in Gurgaon, India.
Opportunity to take ownership of quality coordination and reporting workstreams.
Collaborative environment involving Project Managers, Operations teams, and external vendors.
Scope to contribute to quality improvements, process optimization, and training initiatives.
Salary, healthcare coverage, paid leave, bonuses, equipment provision, and additional employee benefits are not specified in the job description.
Build and maintain quality dashboards covering throughput, accuracy, error categories, and performance trends, providing concise summaries to stakeholders.
