  • You’ll provide hands-on HR guidance across employee relations, talent, compensation and day-to-day People matters.
  • You’ll lead and develop two direct reports, a People Partner and Payroll Specialist.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within music, media, entertainment, technology, gaming, marketing or a creative agency environment.
  • Strong HR business partnering combined with hands-on HR operations experience.
  • Practical Canadian payroll knowledge, including experience reviewing or auditing payroll. Payroll vendor transition experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ownership of performance management, merit and bonus cycles.
  • Experience implementing HR programs and managing projects independently.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring HR professionals.
  • Strong judgment, energy and confidence partnering with senior leadership.
