  • Thorough understanding of Okta's business strategy and VMTs, influence the product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional partners while driving design forward at Okta.
  • Proactively identify strategic UX opportunities within your domain area and the product as a whole. Closely collaborating with EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) in a global team to lead and drive UX strategy for your product area and drive cross-product initiatives.

  • You possess a clear vision of the future of user experience and have the courage to lead and pursue forward-thinking design.
  • You advocate for design and experience quality across your team.
  • You are experienced in understanding user and customer needs and can translate those into experiences that provide meaningful value for customers and the business.
  • You are passionate about upholding design UX principles to help teams deliver cohesive and well-designed user experiences.
  • You have the heart of a teacher and can help coach and train people. You build and share empathy with people in order to deeply understand them and their needs.
  • You are passionate about supporting teams with a wide variety of experience, backgrounds, and interests.
  • You have a clear philosophy about how to successfully manage design teams.
  • You have experience driving organizational change with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • You have a collaborative team spirit with great communication skills.
