Job description

Who are Fliplet?

Fliplet is an AI-led software creation platform that helps organizations build secure mobile and web software faster, without the delays and complexity of traditional development.

With 15 years of experience in no-code and low-code software delivery, Fliplet is now helping enterprise teams move from idea to production-ready software using AI prompts, while keeping the governance, security, publishing control and long-term maintainability required for real business use.

Our platform is trusted by global law firms, professional services firms, financial services, healthcare organizations, corporate enterprises and many more. We help business and IT teams create, manage and publish software across web, mobile, app stores and private enterprise channels.

This is an exciting time to join Fliplet. We are building on a strong foundation, a trusted global client base and a proven reputation in enterprise no-code/low-code software delivery, while shaping the next generation of secure AI-led software creation.

Who We’re Looking For

We're looking for a highly organized, curious and personable Outbound Sales Development Representative who enjoys starting conversations, meeting new people and understanding what matters to them.

This role is focused almost entirely on outbound prospecting. You'll spend the majority of your time making calls, engaging prospects, and building relationships with decision-makers at target organizations.

Your role is to open useful conversations, understand prospective clients’ needs and help them explore where Fliplet could add value. You’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and share relevant ideas and examples that give people a reason to keep talking.

Success is about creating qualified opportunities for our senior sales team. Some prospects may be ready for an introduction after one conversation; others will need several discussions to establish fit and interest.

You don’t need previous SDR or software sales experience. You do need to enjoy initiating conversations with people you haven’t met, stay motivated when people aren’t interested, and follow through consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct consistent, high-quality outbound prospecting through phone, email and LinkedIn to start meaningful conversations with relevant people within target accounts

  • Build relationships through attentive listening and thoughtful questions to understand prospects’ priorities, challenges and potential fit

  • Share relevant Fliplet ideas and examples, and maintain purposeful, timely follow-up that gives prospects a reason to continue the conversation

  • Recognise qualified interest and arrange introductions to the senior sales team when prospects are ready

What Success Looks Like

Your primary daily activity target will be meaningful conversations with relevant prospects, supported by the outbound activity needed to achieve that target.

A meaningful conversation is a two-way discussion that develops our understanding of the prospect’s role, priorities, needs or challenges and whether Fliplet could help. It involves attentive listening, relevant questions and a clear outcome, whether that is an agreed follow-up, an introduction to the sales team or establishing that there is no fit.

Success will be measured by:

  • Consistently achieving meaningful-conversation targets

  • Quality of listening, questions and engagement with prospects

  • Building relationships that develop our understanding of fit and interest

  • Relevant, timely follow-up that gives prospects a reason to continue the conversation

  • Qualified introductions and meetings accepted by the senior sales team

  • CRM accuracy and completeness

  • Contribution to qualified pipeline generation

The primary objective of this role is to create opportunities and introductions for the sales team through useful conversations, sound qualification and consistent outbound prospecting.

Personal Attributes & Experience

Experience

  • Experience in a role involving regular conversations with new people is helpful, including customer service, hospitality, recruitment, fundraising, sales or business development

  • Ability to demonstrate confidence initiating conversations and building rapport with people you haven’t met

  • Evidence of working consistently towards goals, managing your time and following through on commitments

  • Comfortable learning new software and maintaining accurate records

  • Willing to learn about different industries, organizational structures and the people involved in buying decisions

  • Experience selling software, technology or B2B services is helpful, but not essential

Attributes & Skills

  • Confident, proactive and resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and keep momentum

  • Naturally personable and conversational, with the ability to create warmth, trust and interest quickly over the phone

  • Genuinely curious and an attentive listener, able to ask thoughtful follow-up questions and respond naturally to what the prospect is saying

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt their style to different audiences, from IT and marketing teams to senior decision-makers

  • Able to hold purposeful, consultative conversations, identify relevant needs and share ideas or examples that give prospects a reason to continue talking

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and disciplined in follow-up activity

  • Self-motivated, coachable and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Eager to learn, with a genuine interest in outbound prospecting, relationship-building and creating new commercial opportunities

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience making outbound calls or proactively engaging new contacts

  • Experience building relationships with business customers or senior stakeholders

  • Familiarity with calling software and CRMs

  • Experience working with legal, professional services or enterprise organizations

  • An interest in technology and how it can solve business problems

Diversity

We believe innovation thrives in teams that bring diverse perspectives. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. If you think you’d be a great fit but don’t meet every requirement - we still encourage you to apply.
