ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

NL Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental health.

Pediatric services include outpatient clinics, Emergency Department call coverage, inpatient coverage, routine neonatal care, and attendance at difficult deliveries. There is opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary clinics in the areas of development, behaviour, obesity, and chronic disease, with further diversification based on the physician's interests. The position offers a vigorous and varied caseload and the fulfillment of serving families in this rural part of the province.

Newfoundland and Labrador is the most easterly place in North America — a vast land with some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Experience a solitary wilderness one day and immerse yourself in a vibrant culture the next, surrounded by stunning coastlines, breaching whales, icebergs, and incredible skyscapes.
