High-Impact Center of Excellence: Serve as an organization-wide enabler guiding architecture standards, best practices, automation workflows, and vendor partnerships.
Modern Cloud & Container Architecture: Gain hands-on exposure deploying and instrumenting observability agents across hybrid multi-cloud (AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes environments.
Responsibilities
Observability Enablement & Onboarding: Guide and support application engineering teams migrating to Datadog using APM, Infrastructure, and Serverless agents, ensuring architectural alignment with enterprise monitoring standards.
Platform Instrumentation: Implement, configure, and maintain telemetry solutions across distributed systems, containerized Kubernetes clusters, Splunk log ingestion paths, and Edge Delta telemetry optimization pipelines.
Automation & Agent Rollouts: Build and execute mass rollout strategies, agent upgrades, and configuration deployments utilizing Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (Terraform or Ansible).
Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with vendor Technical Account Managers (TAMs) from Datadog, Splunk, and Edge Delta alongside internal application owners to diagnose implementation blockers and accelerate platform adoption.
Logic, Rules & Dashboards: Design and maintain advanced detection logic, alerting rules, real-time monitors, and performance dashboards (including Real User Monitoring - RUM metrics).
