Now we're the top-selling retractable screen, and our products are international.

Production Technician: Help Build the Screens That Disappear

Phantom Screens | Morning & Evening Shifts | From $21.10/hr

---

Your work makes a difference

Since 1992, Phantom Screens has built one thing and built it better than anyone else: retractable screens that are there when you need them and gone when you don't. Today we're the top-selling retractable screen on the market, and our products are shipped around the world.

Behind every screen is a skilled person who cared about getting it right. We're looking for our next Production Technician to be that person.

At Phantom, making life better is our mission, for our customers and for the people who work here.

---

The role at a glance

You'll report to the Production Supervisor and take day-to-day direction from your area Team Lead. You'll work in a team that depends on each other to hit daily production goals and keep quality high.

You'll also have the chance to learn more than one part of the operation. You may move between departments to support the team where it's needed most.

---

What you'll do

Build it right
- Follow work instructions step by step, with extra focus on the critical quality steps from your training
- Read work order travelers and confirm the specs, so every order is built exactly as written
- Inspect materials for defects before they go into a product

Keep things moving
- Meet the production efficiency targets set during your training
- Report your daily production completion accurately
- Record and communicate any scrap from defective material
- Tell your Team Lead right away about any defects or abnormalities

Take care of the team and the space
- Follow all safety regulations you're trained on
- Learn and use your equipment properly
- Complete your daily workstation cleaning and organization checklist
- Take your turn on the washroom and lunchroom cleaning rotation

---

What makes you a great fit

- You notice the small stuff. You have superior attention to detail.
- You stay calm when it gets busy. You can work quickly and accurately during sustained high-pressure periods.
- You can lock in. You can stay focused on repetitive tasks.
- You're a team player. You enjoy shared wins and know that a good day is a team accomplishment.
- You care about safety and quality in the workplace, the product, and the materials.
- You're a good communicator. You build positive, professional relationships with colleagues and contacts at every level.
- You want to give customers your best, even when you never meet them.
- You have a high school diploma (Grade 12 or equivalent).
