About SDA

At SDA, we specialize in helping enterprises unlock the full value of the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). We do this through two complementary pillars:

Products: We design and deliver innovative, user-centric solutions on SAP BTP, available on the SAP Store and trusted by leading enterprises.

Services: We provide SAP BTP consulting and advisory services, enabling clients to modernize their SAP landscapes, extend S/4HANA, and embrace clean core principles.

We are a lean, ambitious, and values-driven team committed to excellence, integrity, and customer success.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SAP Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO), extensive hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Integration (CI), and a deep understanding of the SAP Integration Suite including API Management and Open Connectors. You have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions that bridge SAP and non-SAP systems across hybrid and cloud environments.

In this role, you will act as a key contributor and advisor, shaping seamless, scalable, and efficient Integration Architectures that align with our clients’ business goals. You will lead high-impact integration projects, influence Architectural decisions, and guide teams while staying at the forefront of SAP's evolving Integration landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute integration projects using SAP BTP Integration Suite, including SAP CPI, Open Connectors, and SAP API Management.
  • Document executive-level summaries of integration scenarios, translating technical designs into clear, business-aligned narratives based on client requirements, helping stakeholders understand value, complexity, and impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers to define and deliver integration strategies and scalable solutions across SAP and third-party platforms.
  • Apply your expertise in SAP PI/PO and CPI to support both cloud-native and hybrid integration landscapes.
  • Design and manage i-Flows, implement prebuilt and custom Open Connectors, and create REST/SOAP/OData-based APIs.
  • Provide strategic Advisory input for Integration roadmaps, architecture reviews, and IT modernization initiatives.
  • Conduct technology assessments and recommend improvements based on integration maturity and business value.
  • Drive best practices, reusability, security, and high-performance design across integration projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to integration frameworks and accelerators.
  • Stay current with SAP BTP innovations and emerging integration trends to continuously enhance our offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end integration projects and migrations, with the ability to define and deliver SAP integration scenarios supporting system-to-system business processes across SAP and external applications.
  • Experience with SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite migration assessments and execution is a strong asset, including interface inventory analysis, complexity classification, and migration planning.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) as an SAP Integration Developer, with a strong foundation in SAP PI/PO development and implementation.
  • Extensive expertise in SAP CPI, including hands-on experience in creating integration flows, APIs, and using adapters to connect diverse systems.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP Integration Suite, with practical experience designing and implementing integration scenarios using various integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based development and familiarity with SAP BTP's offerings, including SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
  • Strong programming skills in Java and familiarity with scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols (REST, SOAP, OData, etc.) and data formats (XML, JSON, IDoc, etc.).
  • Knowledge or Hands-on exposure to Mulesoft or other third-party integration tools is highly valued.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and other SAP modules is advantageous.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • SAP certifications related to Integration, SAP Cloud Platform, or SAP Process Integration (PI) are beneficial.
