About Us

We want to see people inspired to do meaningful work.

Our mission is simple - to see young people living fully in Christ. We are committed to helping youth develop holistically by offering programs and developing relationships that nurture the whole person - physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

Youth Unlimited YFC exists to help young people in Southwestern Ontario experience hope and attain their full life potential by showing love and care for their whole person and encouraging them to know, follow, and serve God.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a passionate and community-minded leader to serve as a Satellite Director, providing leadership and oversight for the development and growth of all ministry initiatives within the satellite. This role includes supervisory support and encouragement to satellite staff, committee members, and volunteers while fostering a healthy, collaborative ministry environment.

The successful candidate will have a heart for youth, strong leadership abilities, and the vision to build meaningful ministry opportunities that meet the needs of youth within the local community. This role combines youth ministry, staff leadership, fundraising, volunteer development, administration, and community engagement.

  • Provide supervisory support, encouragement, and accountability to satellite staff and volunteers

  • Attend monthly satellite staff meetings, bi-monthly chapter-wide supervisors and staff meetings, and annual retreats/conferences
  • Liaise between SWOYFC leadership and satellite staff
  • Monitor staff schedules and encourage healthy ministry and personal balance
  • Seek to understand the needs, challenges, and opportunities facing youth within the community
  • Advocate for youth through fundraising and ministry partner development
  • Develop and nurture community support through churches, industry contacts, service clubs, and community presentations
  • Provide leadership in the planning and implementation of major satellite fundraising events
  • Build positive relationships with parents, schools, churches, and community stakeholders
  • Project a visible and positive image of Youth Unlimited YFC within the community
  • Complete administrative responsibilities including reports, budgeting, policies, volunteer documentation, and ministry records
  • Develop annual satellite budgets for Committee review and Board approval
  • Ensure volunteer and ministry records are properly maintained
  • Uphold SWOYFC policies, procedures, and risk management standards
  • Pursue ongoing training and professional development opportunities
