  • HR Service Delivery: Oversee site HR services, programs, systems, compensation cycles, training, service providers, and budgets while coaching and developing the HR Coordinator.
  • Operational Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support a safe, compliant workplace, with occasional travel to other company locations.

What you’ll bring

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR business partner or senior generalist role, including leadership of HR programs and cross-functional initiatives.
  • A CHRL designation, or active progress toward a recognized Human Resources designation, is preferred.
  • Experience supporting leaders and colleagues in a highly regulated manufacturing environment; experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, food, or packaging is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and experience managing complex employee relations, investigations, accommodations, disability and attendance matters, and organizational change.
  • Experience leading workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, recruitment, compensation, and colleague engagement.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to use HR data to connect people priorities with safety, quality, service, cost, and operational performance.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with the confidence to coach, influence, and respectfully challenge leaders at all levels.
  • Sound judgement, adaptability, and a commitment to handling sensitive matters with accountability, integrity, confidentiality, and care.
  • Clear communication and conflict-resolution skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, experience using HR and applicant tracking systems, and the ability to travel occasionally between company locations.
