    • Vendor data review and technical clarifications

    • Responding to RFIs and supporting site queries

  • Prepare and manage piping deliverables across all project phases (concept, FEED, detailed design, and execution).

  • Assist with the development of proposals, estimates, work plans, schedules, and resource forecasts.

  • Identify, document, and support management of scope changes, risks, and technical issues.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to intermediate and junior piping engineers and designers.

  • Coordinate with other disciplines (process, mechanical, structural, electrical, I&C, and project management) to ensure integrated and constructible designs.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • When required, act as Piping Discipline Lead for small to medium-sized projects or defined scopes within larger projects.

Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of piping engineering standards, codes, technologies, and industry best practices.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of piping design standards, tools, and work processes within Worley.

  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Qualifications – What You Will Bring

Technical & Industry Experience

  • Significant and relevant piping engineering experience in energy, chemicals, mining, or industrial projects.

  • Strong technical capability in piping system design and engineering, with the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work independently.

  • Working knowledge of piping design fundamentals and interfaces with other engineering disciplines.

  • Solid understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, including:

    • ABSA requirements for piping design and registration

    • ASME / ASTM piping and materials standards

    • CSA pipeline standards (asset)

  • Experience supporting EPC / EPCM projects across multiple project phases (concept through execution).

  • Familiarity with piping stress analysis (asset).

  • Experience as a discipline lead or technical focal point on small to medium-sized projects (asset).

  • Proficiency with piping engineering and design tools, along with standard engineering software (e.g., MS Office).

Communication & Professional Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Sound judgement, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
