Job Title:

Senior Product Manager, Security - RICOCHET - Central Technology

Requisition ID:

R027346

Job Description:

Call of Duty is one of the most iconic and successful video game franchises in the world, delivering unforgettable experiences to millions of players every day. At the heart of that experience is fair play, and that’s where the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat team comes in.

Our mission is to protect the integrity of the online experience, ensuring every player enjoys a level playing field. As the team’s Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic vision for anti-cheat across Call of Duty live titles, including Modern Warfare, Black Ops, Warzone, and future franchise releases, while helping drive the continued success of these initiatives.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position in either our Sherman Oaks, CA or Vancouver, BC offices, but remote candidates within the United States and Canada will also be considered

Your Mission - RICOCHET

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead key initiatives in game security, anti-cheat, and player integrity. This role sits at the center of a highly adversarial problem space and in it you’ll design systems and capabilities that protect fair play, safeguard game ecosystems, and stay ahead of constantly evolving threats.

You’ll work closely with engineering, data science, threat intelligence, and operations teams to define strategy, prioritize investments, and deliver solutions that detect, prevent, and respond to abuse at scale. This is a high-impact role requiring strong product judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to make decisions in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

What you bring to the table

The video game industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. As such, the duties and responsibilities of this role may be changed as directed by the Company at any time to promote and support our business and relationships with industry partners. Therefore, this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Define and drive product strategy for anti-cheat, abuse prevention, and game security systems
  • Own the roadmap across detection, enforcement, and prevention capabilities
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to build scalable detection systems (e.g., behavioral models, heuristics, signals pipelines)
  • Collaborate with threat intelligence and operations teams to understand emerging threats and translate them into product requirements
  • Design enforcement strategies that balance effectiveness, player experience, and false positive risk
  • Use data, experimentation, and live operations feedback to continuously improve systems
  • Lead prioritization across competing security investments, balancing proactive and reactive work
  • Communicate product strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes to stakeholders across the organization
  • Drive cross-functional alignment during high-severity incidents or abuse spikes

Player Profile

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex or technical products
  • Experience working closely with engineering on backend systems, platforms, or data-driven products
  • Experience in game security, anti-cheat systems, or online multiplayer ecosystems
  • Experience with telemetry pipelines, real-time data systems, or large-scale event processing
  • Experience working with metrics such as precision/recall, false positive rates, or similar system performance indicators

Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in fraud detection, trust & safety, or other adversarial domains
  • Familiarity with reverse engineering, cheat development techniques, or exploit methodologies
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis tools, or scripting for investigation and validation
  • Experience supporting live operations or incident response in high-velocity environments
  • Strong product intuition in adversarial or high-risk environments (e.g., fraud, abuse, security, trust & safety, or gaming)
  • Familiarity with experimentation and iteration in live service environments
  • Track record of shipping impactful products or systems end-to-end

Key Attributes

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels
  • Ability to reason about trade-offs between detection accuracy, latency, scalability, and user impact
  • Comfort collaborating with technical stakeholders (engineering, data science, security)
