Senior Program Director, Project Management

Edelman is looking for a Senior Program Director, Project Management to join our Toronto team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project management leader who thrives on bringing structure to complexity, connecting multidisciplinary teams, and delivering innovative, integrated campaigns for leading brands.

Working at the intersection of creativity, strategy, technology, and communications, you'll play a critical role in shaping how ambitious ideas come to life. From social-first and digital campaigns to large-scale, integrated 360° programs, you'll partner with talented teams to deliver meaningful work while helping evolve how we collaborate, operate, and grow.

If you're passionate about technology, curious about what's next, and energized by solving complex challenges alongside great people, we'd love to hear from you.

Who You Are

You're a strategic, solutions-oriented leader who knows how to balance big-picture thinking with the details that make great work happen. You bring deep experience in integrated project management, a strong understanding of technology and digital delivery, and the confidence to guide teams through complex challenges.

You're naturally collaborative, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and motivated by finding smarter ways of working. You lead with curiosity and empathy, build trust across disciplines, and enjoy helping others develop and succeed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead complex, integrated programs across technology, social, digital, creative, earned, paid, and owned channels, ensuring seamless execution from initial scoping through launch and completion.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams across Account, Creative, Strategy, Social, Digital, and Technical disciplines to align priorities, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Shape strategic delivery approaches by evaluating client briefs, defining scopes of work, building project plans, and establishing effective workflows that support ambitious creative and business objectives.
  • Oversee project financial health, partnering with Account and Finance teams to manage budgets, forecasts, fees, staffing plans, and scope changes while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Navigate complexity and manage risk by anticipating challenges, addressing technical and cross-functional dependencies, and guiding teams toward practical, solutions-focused outcomes.
  • Build trusted client relationships, contributing to conversations around project delivery, operational planning, financial performance, and integrated campaign execution.
  • Mentor and develop project management talent, providing coaching, guidance, and support while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Champion continuous improvement, introducing scalable processes, tools, and ways of working that strengthen collaboration, efficiency, and delivery across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of project management experience within an integrated marketing, communications, PR, digital, or related agency environment, with demonstrated success leading complex, multidisciplinary programs.
  • Strong knowledge of the technology industry, including experience working with technology brands, clients, or technology-driven marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in social, digital, and integrated 360° campaign delivery, including digital production workflows, content development, platform requirements, technical dependencies, and cross-channel execution.
  • Proven operational and financial management skills, including project scoping, resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and change control.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and mentoring project management professionals.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate evolving client and business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet or comparable project management platforms. A four-year degree or equivalent professional experience is required. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is an asset.

Pay Range: $120,000 to $135,000 CAD/yr.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
