Job Description

Build the future with us

Are you passionate about strategic project management and energized by evolving transformation environments? Join the new Process Transformation unit, whose mission is to fundamentally rethink existing business processes by leveraging emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead high-impact initiatives from ideation through the end of Phase 0, within approximately 90-day transformation cycles. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts to design and structure innovative solutions before transferring them to the teams responsible for execution.

This role offers a unique opportunity to help build a new way of working while benefiting from significant autonomy and visibility with senior leaders. Due to the nature of the role’s activities, on-site presence at the Québec City office is required approximately three to four days per week.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the management team to identify upcoming mandates and prepare teams to take them on in a fast-paced environment;
  • Coordinate project activities, from mandate definition through the end of Phase 0, within approximately 90-day transformation cycles;
  • Organize the transfer of projects to the teams responsible for execution and ensure alignment with sector portfolios;
  • Carry out all project management activities, including organizing and facilitating planning, follow-up and retrospective workshops, as well as governance committees;
  • Structure the new team’s operating model and adapt the delivery approach to each initiative using Agile, Lean, hybrid, traditional or waterfall methodologies;
  • Mobilize teams around a shared vision and common objectives while facilitating collaboration across business sectors, IT teams and other stakeholders;
  • Maintain regular and transparent communication with governance bodies, project leaders, business partners, Delivery Managers and Portfolio Managers;
  • Monitor project progress and performance, manage risks and issues, implement appropriate action plans and support change management.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, project management or a related field, or has equivalent relevant work experience;
  • Has successfully led at least four large-scale strategic projects involving multiple stakeholders and significant budgets;
  • Has demonstrated experience managing business projects and cross-functional initiatives of medium scope and high strategic importance;
  • Stands out for their organizational skills, proactive approach, attention to detail and ability to quickly advance multiple initiatives while maintaining all required follow-ups;
  • Is comfortable navigating ambiguity and can structure new ways of working in a transformation environment;
  • Possesses strong communication, presentation, negotiation and conflict-management skills, along with mobilizing leadership and well-developed political acumen;
  • Demonstrates excellent command of French, both written and spoken, as well as strong analytical and critical-thinking skills focused on solutions and continuous improvement;
  • Has an intermediate level of English and French proficiency, as the role regularly involves participating in meetings and drafting documents with English-speaking and French-speaking individuals across Canada.
  • A relevant project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, PSM I, PSM II or SAFe, is considered an asset.

Why you’ll love working with us

  • A mandate that goes beyond traditional project management and offers the opportunity to build a new way of working from the ground up;
  • A variety of transformation projects delivered in approximately 90-day cycles;
  • Significant autonomy in selecting the project management methods best suited to each initiative;
  • Collaboration with specialists from multiple disciplines, including business, IT, process and performance, human resources, risk and compliance;
  • Significant visibility with senior leaders;
  • A work environment where learning and development merge with a collective pursuit of excellence;
  • AI is in everyone’s hands, empowering you to increase your personal effectiveness while supporting the organization’s growth;
  • A healthy, safe, fair and inclusive environment where everyone’s potential can be freely expressed and developed.

  • Competitive retirement savings plan;
  • Employee share purchase plan;
  • Vacation program, wellness days and personal development days;
